- Fluids must be clean and free from suspended abrasive particles.

Our heavy duty water movers are a true workhorse and designed for continuous duty and suitable for construction and industrial work. With rapid self priming capabilities and made to transfer high volumes of water at medium to high pressures. Complete with a 3" bronze inlet (A3HD) or for better inlet flow conditions a 4" inlet (A4HD). Solidly constructed with a durable cast iron impeller, heavy duty aluminium casing and solid bronze inlet and outlet. Available complete with a variety of diesel or petrol drive units that are easily maintained for a long service life. Also available in a bare shaft configuration. This pump can be supplied with a zinc free bronze casing and impeller for full marine duties.

A3HD P22VE

The pump is to be installed in a horizontal position for both fixed and portable plants. These self priming pumps require water in the pump case only for the initial pumping operation. No water is necessary for subsequent pumping when the casing contains water For maximum efficiency make the piping as short and straight as possible. Important: If the pump is intended to run at maximum flows, to minimise the change of cavitation to occur, it is important to have well designed inlet pipework. Another way to reduce any cavitation problems, is to use the A4HD pump with the larger inlet in lieu of the A3HD pump.
