Good practices and lessons of men engagement:

“…..before attending community dialogues on SGBV facilitated by male champions, I did not realize that I was doing any violence to my wife and children. After the community discussions, I understood that violence is not only physical but mental and sexual in nature. I treasure, support, and respect my wife and at the moment we work together as a family this has improved our socio economic status and as a result we have managed to send our children back to school. Secondly I learnt that sex should take place only when there is a mutual consent. I’m a changed man…..” Wabwire Joseph Busia District Uganda
