Candidate is required to visit www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/fe2016and make newregistration by clicking on “New Registration” for admission to First Year Engineering Course2016. If the candidate has already registered then he/she may use the “Registered candidate

Check EligibilityOn clicking on “New Registration”, the following page will open. Candidate will have to answerfew questions based on his/her status.

If you have appeared for MHT-CET 2016, below page will appear and you will have to enter thevalid details.

If you have not appeared for MHT-CET, then following page will appear.

If both your answers are NO, then the following page will appear.

You may continue with the registration if any of your answer is YES.

2. Registration Details

The following page will be displayed and candidate will have to fill in the required informationto register.

Once done candidate can click on “Save and Proceed”

Instructions pageAn application ID will be generated for the entire admission process.

Also candidate may print the application id generated through the system for future reference.

3. Registered Candidate

Log-inOn registration, the candidate will have to re-login to start filling the application form.

Forgot passwordIn case the candidate happens to forget the ID or pass-word , the same can be retrieved by

clicking on “I can’t access my account”after which following page will appear. The candidatecan then successfully recover his/her pass-word.

Aadhar detailsThe candidate will have to fill in these details to avail schemes and scholarships. The candidate

may temporarily skip and continue filling the application form.

Home University & Category DetailsThe candidate has to provide appropriate details and then produce the relevant documents for

verification of this information at the FC.

Special Reservation Details

The candidate will have to select appropriate Special reservation details as t will have an impacton the fees and seat allocation in CAP rounds.

Relevant documents have to be submitted at FC to claim the status selected.

Qualification DetailsThe candidate will have to mention correct SSC & HSC details as mentioned in the respective

marksheets.At HSC, candidates can choose either of HSC/Diploma/B.Sc. depending on which qualifyingexam they have taken.

JEE (Main) 2016 Paper-1 DetailsIf the candidate has appeared for JEE, he/she may fill these details to avail the allocation in All

India seats depending on which score is better for the candidate.

Uploaded Scanned ImagesFor candidates who have appeared for MHT-CET 2016, the photograph and signature will be

available in the application already.

For candidates who have not taken MHT-CET 2016 and still wish to apply will have to upload

latest photograph and valid signature.

Pay Application Fee

Candidates who have registered for MHT-CET 2016 are not required to pay any fees forregistration for admission. However other candidates who have obtained score JEE(Main) Paper1 and have not registered for MHT-CET 2016, shall pay the required fees only by Credit Card/

Debit Card/ Net-Banking as given below.

Print Application FormThe complete application form with the details that the candidate has filled will appear.

Candidate should take a print out of this form and take the form to FC for confirmation.

Check StatusOnce the entire application is done the candidate can check the status of application form onHOME page.

5. Upload Required DocumentsCandidate will have to upload all the relevant documents as per his/her application details.

The same documents need to be produced at FC for confirmation.

The below mentioned utility shall be used to upload the documents using latest Version of

Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

File Types Allowed : jpg, jpeg, png, bmp, zip, rar, pdf

Maximum File Size Allowed : 1024 KB
