    Definitions:

    (1) Overload Power:Overload power is power in which an engine may be permitted to deliver, with a duration andfrequesncy of use depending on the service application, at stated ambient conditions, immediatelyafter operating at the continuous power restricted to 1 hour in a 12 hour time span.

    (2) Continuous Power (MCR):Continuous Power is power, which an engine is capable of delivering continuously for an unlimitednumber of hours per year, between the normal maintenance intervals stated by the manufacturer,at the stated speed and under stated ambient conditions, the maintenance prescribed by themanufacturer having been carried out.
