Methods Engineer-Maintenance Planning, Scheduling & Reliability Maintenance (62 Employees)
Duties:
Lead improvement project in design, planning and commissioning and managing CBM (Condition Monitoring) and
lubrication programmes;
Develop work packages, safe work instructions including support for operator TPM activities;
Check the inventory on regular basis to ensure the spare parts availibity and raise a PR as required;
Analyse maintenance work order feedback, perform maintenance history data and cost analysis;
Prepare job plan and allocate time, resources, tools against tasks and upload them in SAP;
Forecast and Report plan compliance (planned vs. actual performance, resource used, inventory status, cost);
Implement a wide variety of engineering solutions to increase equipment availability, net operating rate and
prevent production losses, manage historic losses, thereby achieving outstanding production rates;
Test and design methods and Statistical Control procedures thus gaining 98% plant reliability;
Incident Investigation, analyse and perform RCA to eliminated defects, implement RCM, FMECA;
Develop of SCEs maintenance and performance std verification procedures against performance dashboard;
Maintain the workgroups activities within estimates providing timely and accurate feedback, analyse them to
minimize outage and maximize production, implemented CBM with vibration monitoring and analysis;
Keep abreast of condition monitoring technologies, ensure use of reliability improvement, predictive maintenance

consumption and track maintenance expenses for Maintenance Manager;
Carry Inspection, collect out data and perform analysis on rotating equipment, demonstrate lean principle;
Provide support in vibration analysis, Oil analysis and other predictive and preventive maintenance practices;
Use FMECA (Failure Mode Effect and Criticality Analysis) to prepare critical equipements maintenance strategy and
perform RCA to reduce the repeatative failures;
Maintain inter-departmental relations to confirm priorities,check methods, resources availability, review of pending
jobs, optimize equipments availability, increase production and reduce equipment failure;
Conduct the contaractor eavluiation for ensuring quality resoursing and enhancing safety in workplace.

(i) Implemented Budget Tracking Tool and reduced MCI from 2 to 1.2; (ii) Drove the reliability initiatives and increased
Reliability Factor from 72.9 % to 98.4% and Utilization Factor from 75% to 90%, MTBF from 40.7 to 70 clinker production
from 3438 tph to 3550 tph and cement production from 138 tph to 192 tph; (iii) Prepared LOTOTO procedure and demo
plant and trained about 82 employees on isolation philosophy; (iv) Implemented 10 Golden Rules to perform the SD
effectively and safely;(v) Plan and Scheduled two major shutdowns; (vi) Developed and implemented vibration and
lubrication monitoring and analysis system for all major rotating equipments; (vii) Performed 106 RCAs for different
failures.
