Mounting Main Cut-out Body (Item 1) Fixing Item 1 on Wall

Use the template provided to mark out the two main fixing holes for the cut-out body.

Fixing Item 1 on Wall

Remove the cable terminal covers as shown using a flat head screwdriver.

Following manual handling guidelines mount the main cut-out body to the wall using suitable fixings as appropriate for the site conditions (not supplied with kit).

Fixing Item 1 on Wall

Drill wall and fix to the wall using M10 fixings when fixing to brick walls.

Utilise an M6 washers and suitable wood screws when fixing to plywood the length of the screw will be dependent on thickness of the plywood on site.

6.7 Replacing CTs and Terminations

Replacing CTs and Terminations

In order to replace the CT or the termination the stalk needs to be undone.

Before the stalk is removed the plastic white pin holding the CT depicted on the picture needs to be removed so that the stalk can be pulled away.

M12 nut securing stalks depicted on the left picture; recommended tightening torque 40Nm.

Replacing CTs and Terminations

Once the stalk has been removed.

The termination can be pulled upwards through the CT.

The CT is held onto the bus bar via a pin; it will require removing.

Note: The CT wiring S1; S2, and CT ration must be correct if the CTs are replaced.

The CT wiring must be kept away from the termination and protected by the polycarbonate barriers provided.

Sicame Terminations

The UMT95 has 2 x M6 fixings and the recommended tightening torque 20Nm.

The UMT185 has 2 x M8 fixings and the recommended tightening torque 48Nm.

The UMT300 has 2 x M8 fixings and the recommended tightening torque 48Nm.
