Newsle!erWelcome to our first newsletter. Starting this month wewill be issuing a monthly newsletter for our students, customers and supporters.

First we’d like to thank you for your support. Without you we wouldn’t have made it this far. Things are continuing to look positive.

Summer has come and many of you are taking a little time off work to recharge your batteries in the sun. Enjoy! We’ll have one week off this summer from August 3rd to August 8th.

On July 31st Christian will run the Swiss Alpine Marathon in Davos.

We’d love to hear from you and see pictures from your holidays, so if you feel like sharing please do. Send us an e-mail or a postcard from your vacation. If you’d like us to

share this with others please let us know.

We’re on Twitter, facebook, and we’ve been revamping the website www.marathonsprachen.com. New features on the website include a Word of the Day (Wort des Tages), better upcoming events, Mad Libs for kids (only in English right now) and better links. You can also find more information about our partners and sponsors as well as special causes.

This past Saturday evening we had a wonderful dinner at Casa Gabriella in Meilen am Zürichsee. We’re organizing an Austrian Wine evening with the Winemaker at the restaurant. It will be a full taster menu. More details will follow. If you’re interested, please let us know.

We’ve also introduced Expat services including housesitting and petsitting. On top of that we’re doing sightseeing, walking and culinary tours. Want to learn more about Winterthur or Zürich? Taste great artisan foods? Let us know and we’ll arrange a tour.
