B. WHAT IS ‘ENGLISH IMMERSION PROGRAMME’? The English Immersion Programme (EIP) is designed for students wishing to learn English and be involved in a range of cultural, social and recreational activities. This programme offers students the great opportunity to learn English and experience Malaysia at the same time. Students will have face-to-face English learning with our instructors from Monday to Friday with ‘Action Learning’ slotted in the middle of the week and a full-day excursion on Saturday. Students are given the Sunday off to do their own activities.

At the beginning of this programme, students will sit for the English Placement Test to determine their level of proficiency in order for our instructors to know their students better. EIP follows a General English curriculum that has a heavy focus on listening and speaking, with light reading and writing tasks.

We will customise the programme to suite your needs for the students to focus on Malaysian English.

The ultimate goal of EIP is to enable students to communicate fluently and confidently at the end of the programme. For this particular group, they will be exposed to the structures and interesting vocabulary pertaining to Malaysian English. Fun and interactive activities would form the core of language learning in the classroom with role-plays and communicative language games, etc.
