    1.3.3 General Parameter Input Description

UEIDs are used to trace UE-level performance tests. UEIDs can be set to S-Temporary

Mobile Subscriber Identity (STMSI), Random Value, and Trace Reference No.

The following describes how to obtain and use the three types of UEIDs:

    STMSI and Random Value

The ue-Identity IE in the RRC Connection Request message contains the MMEc and

m-TMSI fields. Therefore, you can obtain the MMEc and m-TMSI in hexadecimal

format from the ue-Identity IE. Enter the MMEc and m-TMSI in decimal format on the

    trace interface.

The RRC Connection Request message may carry a Random Value in hexadecimal

format. Enter the Random Value in hexadecimal format on the trace interface.

The STMSI in decimal format and Random Value in hexadecimal format can also be

    queried by running DSP ALLUEBASICINFO.

If the EPC does not support IMSI-based single UE tracing on the entire network, use the STMSI and

Random Value to collect data for single UE tracing and monitoring.

A maximum of 30 NEs of the same version can be selected when creating the tracing and monitoring

tasks based on the STMSI and Random Value. If the specified UE can be successfully handed over

among multiple selected NEs over the X2 interface, the UE data can be continuously collected in the

    tracing and monitoring task.

If the eNodeB is not a selected NE for this tracing task, the M2000 cannot continue collecting data, even when the UE is handed over to the original eNodeB.

Due to the timing sequence problem, however, some data may fail to be recorded when the UE is

handed over to the target NE.

    Trace Reference No.

For details about the Trace Reference No., see Trace ID in 3GPP TS 32.422. The value

    range is 016777215 (3 bytes).

Use a Trace Reference No. in the following conditions:

The EPC of a vendor must support single UE tracing on the entire network based on the

IMSI (complying with 3GPP TS 32.422), and the tracing task has been initiated.

For example, the EPC of Huawei has initiated LTE/EPC End-to-End User Trace.

The Trace Reference No. on the LTE side can be obtained from:

For the Huawei EPC, obtain the TraceID that is automatically displayed on the interface

when LTE/EPC End-to-End User Trace is created.

Obtain the Trace Reference No. from the Trace Activation IE from the S1 interface

messages (INITIAL CONTEXT SETUP REQUEST, HANDOVER REQUEST, TRACE START) and the X2 interface message (HANDOVER REQUEST).

Click displayed at the end of the User Trace ID of each tracing and monitoring task,

the M2000 will provide the existing Trace Reference No. on the live network.

The M2000 lists the Trace Reference No. of the first 200 tracing tasks in the recent two days.

If the EPC supports IMSI-based single UE tracing on the entire network, use the Trace Reference No. to

collect data for single UE tracing and monitoring.

A maximum of 30 NEs can be selected when creating the tracing and monitoring tasks based on the

Trace Reference No. The UE data can be continuously collected as long as the UE is served by the

    selected NEs.

    Service

% 0 to 100 Average QoS satisfaction rates of

different uplink services in a cell when

monitoring results are reported. n ranges

from 1 to 4. On the uplink, the uplink

QoS satisfaction rate of QCI1 is

represented by the average uplink VoIP

service satisfaction rate in a cell, that is,

the ratio of the total uplink VoIP service

satisfaction rates to the total number of

VoIP services in a cell. The higher the

    proportion, the higher the satisfaction

    rate.

The uplink QoS satisfaction rates of

GBR services with QCIs 2 to 4 are

evaluated for each logical channel group.

The QoS satisfaction rate of a logical

channel group is evaluated based on the

    when monitoring results are reported.

The value range of n is 1 to 4. On the

    downlink, the downlink QoS satisfaction

rate of QCI1 is represented by the

    average downlink VoIP service

satisfaction rate in a cell, that is, the ratio

of the total downlink VoIP service

satisfaction rates to the total number of

VoIP services in a cell. The higher the

    proportion, the higher the satisfaction

The downlink QoS satisfaction rates of

GBR services with QCIs 2 to 4 are

evaluated based on the ratio of the

scheduled data volume of these services

to the total data volume to be transmitted
