    ART REVISION SESSIONSAvailable in Art for Sixth Form until

    March. Its a chance to perform in

    front of an audience

    GEOGRAPHY

    Revision sessions are on Wednesday P4 inweek 1 and Wednesday P2 in week 2.

    Thursday after school, 3-4pm,

    with Mr Moss, who has an open

    door policy to students who are

    welcome to ask for help

    whenever it is needed.

    DROP-IN REVISION SESSIONS

    ENGLISHDrop in sessions

    student who needs

    extra help with essays

    or exam preparation.

    LAWThere are

    lunchtime

    revision

    lessons for

    Y12 & 13

    students on

    Monday and

    Thursday - these are used on a drop

    in basis, although help is available

    most of the time, so please come

    and ask!

    Revision Help is a new club beingoffered around the exam periods

    (Dec Jan + May onwards) to helpstudents with any revision technique

    and to provide information about

    how to create a detailed and useful

    timetable. This take places every

    Thursday lunchtime in P3F.

    UCAS WORKSHOPTh i s takes p lace every

    Wednesday lunchtime in P3F for

    any Y13 students to get extra

    help with their application. In

    addition Y12 are welcome to

    come along to get some

    information about the UCAS

    process.

    REVISION HELP SESSIONS

    YEAR 12 PAIRED READING SCHEME

    Year 12s have the opportunity to

    help Year 7 students and take part

    in a paired reading scheme run bythe English department. Students

    are given training and then paired

    with a Year 7 student. The sixth

    formerarranges times to help the

    Year 7 with reading and

    literacy. This proves

    t o b e

    for both!

    OTHER STUFF!

    PHYSICAL EDUCATION

    Exam revision sessions willbe organised by individual

    staff nearer to the exam

    period.

    ICTICT Suite is available for extra

    work for all subjects after school.Supported ICT coursework catch-

    up sessions are available most

    lunchtimes and every day after

    school for all A Level ICT students.

    Badminton Club is after school on

    Monday evenings. A Level PE

    students can also support the

    department in a Sports Leadercapacity. If you are interested

    please speak to a member of the

    PE department.

    Sixth Form Sport takes place every

    Friday lunchtime, with the Sixth

    Form committee organising a

    number of sport tournaments for

    Y12 + 13 to enter. In betweencompetitions, sixth formers are

    welcome to come down to the

    sports hall and participate in any

    chosen indoor sports activity.

    SPORT ETC..

    NSC meetingThis takes place every Thursday for all

    NSC Committee members. It is

    chaired by the head boy and girl

    and is a formal meeting that the

    Head of Sixth also attends. All

    meetings are minuted and have anagenda. If any other student would

    like an item to be discussed then they

    must post it in the comment box

    Charities committeeThis takes place every Monday during

    registration. To join this please see

    the Head of Charity or sign up on the

    noticeboard.

    Prom CommitteeThis takes place every Wednesday

    during registration. To join this please

    see the Head of Entertainment or sign

    up on the noticeboard.

    Sixth Form SportThis takes place every Friday

    lunchtime, with the Sixth Form

    Committee organising a number ofsport tournaments for Y12 + 13 to

    enter.

    6th Form Book Club

    A lively staff/Sixth Form reading group takes place Monday lunch-times in the

    Library each week. Our entertaining discussions are supported by pizza and

    coffee! New members are always welcome!
