Meet your course tutors! At The Curious Piano Teachers we’re leading the way with a unique and hugely successful approach to online professional development for piano teachers worldwide.
We’ve created an 15-month online course that will prepare you to take either the ATCL (Trinity) or the DipABRSM (ABRSM) diploma in piano teaching*. You get to choose which one suits your needs best.
Preparing for and achieving a piano teaching diploma can help you to build the skills necessary to increase your confidence in your ability to help pupils become independent, well-motivated musicians who achieve their musical potential.
At the same time, you’ll learn how to market yourself to increase your income, develop systems to manage your money and stand out as a professional piano teacher.
In addition to the work that we do, delivering monthly training to piano teachers worldwide via our online membership site The Community, we both have a huge amount of experience delivering diploma courses.
Sharon has, since 2012, delivered Associate (level 4) and Licentiate (level 5) teaching diploma courses to groups of piano teachers - with over 100 piano teachers successfully gaining teaching diplomas. Sally has worked as principal tutor on the Piano Teachers Course for 16 years. So, you’re in good hands.
We look forward to receiving your application (deadline is Saturday 30 June 2018) and getting to know you on the course!
