    Costing of System with Battery Back-up of 5Hrs

    Approx. costing of 1KW plant with 5 hrs battery

    back-up = Rs 1.45 Lakhs Capital Subsidy from MNRE @ 30% = Rs 0.43 Lakhs

    Effective Cost of System = Rs 1.02 Lakhs

    Costing of System without Battery Back-up

    Approx. costing of 1KW plant = Rs 1.1 Lakhs

    Capital Subsidy from MNRE @ 30% = Rs 0.33 Lakhs

    Effective Cost of System = Rs 77, 000

    PAYBACK & SAVINGS

    Generally the payback period for above system lies between 6-7 years.

    Hence free electricity for next 18-19 years.

    No. of units generated by 1Kw panel/day =5.5 KWHr

    Units generated by installed capacity/year =1650 KWHr (5.5*1*300)

    (Considering 300 days of operation)

    Savings:

    If 50% of these solar generated units (50% of 1650) were taken from grid then,

    Monthly Saving from decreased Grid usage = Rs. 4, 950 (6*825)

    (Cost of Grid electricity assumed= Rs. 6/- per unit)

    If 50% of these solar generated units (50% of 1650) were taken from DG set then,

    Monthly Saving from decreased DG set usage =Rs. 12, 375 (15*825)

    Terms & Conditions

    Payment Terms:

    o 20% advance by Demand Draft / Cheque in favour of Godrej payable at MUMBAI

    along with Purchase Order.

    o 65% against Performa Invoice before dispatch of the material.

    o 15% against successful installation and commissioning.o All applicable taxes, duties will be charged extra on the above cost.

    This sheet should be used only for rough estimation, actual quotation will be delivered by Godrej.

    Without Battery Back-up:Payback = Capital Investment / Annual Saving.

    With Battery Back-up:
