• EIDR “Virtual’ Interop held November 2012 through April, 2013
• Goals
Raise awareness of the use of EIDR and Ad-ID in context of SCTE-
130 based advanced architectures:
• Establish campaign and metadata containing EIDR and Ad-ID to
supports use cases
• Summarize impressions by Ad-ID for invoice purposes
• Summarize impressions by EIDR for royalty purposes
• Report user detail by Ad-ID or EIDR

EIDR – AdID Interop Results
• Acquired and integrated Ad-ID metadata for Ads and EIDR registered
entertainment content (via NBC) for use during the Interop.
• Multiple runs were exercised using campaigns injected into the BlackArrow
CM/ADS system. These campaigns were the result of multiple rounds of
consensus based modifications to actual Canoe VOD campaigns.
• Integration between CableLabs Cloud-based Interop Environment (CBIE) and
BlackArrow ADS system was used for all video session placement activities.
• Summarization of impressions by Ad-ID for invoice purposes and by EIDR for
royalty purposes were generated by BlackArrow and Rentrak
• Summary report will contain user details by Ad-ID and EIDR generated by
Rentrak.
