to be tapped.Make sure the tree receive more light and the night is
below 32 degrees Fahrenheit (0 degrees
Celsius).

The maple tree has a distinct of a five point leafIt also should be at least
10 inches in diameter before being tapped.
Drill a hole in the maple tree.
That should be at least around one to four feet above the ground and
half an inch longer/bigger than the bucket.
