Your remote control needs to be programmed to operate properly. It needs to be told how to run your television, which 'stream' it should change the channels for, and which set top box (STB) to control. 1. Does the remote turn on/off the TV and control volume? If YES, proceed to next question. If NO, program remote using this procedure: a. Manually turn on the TV. (or auxiliary device) b. Press and release the TV key. c. Press and hold the SETUP key until the key blinks twice and then release. d. The TV key will stay lit. Press the POWER key once. e. Aim the remote at the TV and press and release CHANNEL UP/DOWN. The remote will auto scan at 10 second intervals. The TV key will be on, blinking every 10 seconds. f. If the TV turns off, a working code has been found. Press OK once to lock in the code. The TV key will blink twice. g. If all codes are exhausted, the TV key will blink fast 7 times and the search will be terminated. 2. Can you change channels and/or see the guide? If YES, your remote is programmed. If NO, the remote needs to be programmed to control the correct stream. a. Be sure that the RF antenna is attached to the REMOTE ANTENNA port on the back of the STB. b. On the STB, press and hold the OK button until the STB display will read RC REG. c. On the remote, press and hold the STB button for five seconds. The STB button will light up and stay lit. Release the STB button. Your remote control needs to be programmed to

button for five seconds. The STB button will

light up and stay lit. Release the STB

button.

Note: If you push the TV button, you will change television channels—not STB box channels—with the remote. The INPUT button will let you scroll between your input (also known as video or aux) channels, your S-Video, and HD inputs. Remember to push the STB button to regain control of your STB channels.

Your remote controls the set top box, your television set and, optionally, an auxiliary device like a DVD player or VCR. Press STB, TV or AUX to select the device you wish to operate.

2. Turn TV On - If the remote is set to STB, the POWER button will turn the TV and STB on together.

1. INPUT - Will change inputs on TV, only in TV mode.

PLAY, REWIND, FAST FORWARD, PAUSE, & STOP -Use these buttons to control your PVR (only on yourmain TV). You may also use these buttons to control yourVCR, if you have programmed the remote to your VCR.

To record - To record a show your are watching, press REC. - To record a future show you see on the guide, select the show on the guide and press REC or press MENU, select PVR and schedule event.

To stop recording - Press the STOP button, or choose MENU, select PVR and select RECORDINGS, highlight the program, press OK and STOP RECORDING.

To view everything you have recorded - Press MENU, select PVR. - Highlight RECORDINGS and press OK. - Make sure to scroll down when looking for title, you may have more than one page of shows stored.

To play a recorded show - Press MENU, select PVR. - Highlight RECORDINGS and press OK. - Select title you want to view, press OK, then press PLAY RECORDINGS.

To delete a recorded show - Press MENU, select PVR. - Highlight RECORDINGS and press OK. - Select title you want to view, press OK, then press DELETE RECORDINGS and follow instructions.

Important: Each of your remote battery covers are labeled 1, 2, or 3.Each remote will correspond with a different TV.
