Open to companies who provide cost containment, medical case management and claims management services to insurance and assistance companies, as well as in-house cost containment departments within insurance/assistance companies.

Entrants should demonstrate the following:• What are some of the key challenges, globally, in

terms of containing costs for insurers; and how do you meet these challenges?

• How are you making use of technology to streamline and enhance the claims process?

• Do you practice proactive cost containment rather than simply reactive? Please give details.

If you wish to enter your company for a 2019 ITIJ Award:Read through the category specifi c information on pages 4-6 and the judging criteria detailed below. Go to the ‘Enter’ page on the 2019 ITIJ Awards website (awards.itij.com/enter), select the category you wish to enter and complete the information requested.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Your details: name, email address and company name1. Company biography: add a short, 100-word company biography, which will be used to describe your company should you become a fi nalist2. Company logo in vector format (.ai/.eps/.pdf)3. Entry document: your entry should take the form of a written explanation (up to 750 words maximum) that covers how your business

has contributed to the industry in your chosen category and why you should win. See the judging criteria below and the category specifi c questions you should answer within your entry for what to include. The document should be submitted in PDF format.

Please note: while not a condition of entry, fi nalists are invited to provide a 30-second video that is played during the ITIJ Awards ceremony prior to the category winner announcement.

NOMINATE A DESERVING PARTNER COMPANY

If you wish to nominate another company (that you do not work for) then simply visit the ITIJ Awards website (awards.itij.com/enter) and provide a short explanation of why you feel the company deserves recognition in the category selected. The ITIJ team will then get in touch with the company you have nominated to formalise their entry should they wish to proceed.

RULES OF ENTRY

By submitting an entry, the entrant confi rms they have read and agree with the ‘Rules of entry’ and

understands these now apply:

1. Entry is completely free of charge.

2. Entrants must provide all requested criteria (see category and judging criteria) to validate their

entry submission.

3. Once a submission has been shortlisted by the Judges, the entry may not be withdrawn by

the entrant. ITIJ reserved the right to include an entrant’s company in the ITIJ Awards shortlist

of fi nalists.

4. All entries must be received by midnight UK time on Friday 19th July 2019.

5. ITIJ reserves the right to use entrants’ company logo for associated marketing of the ITIJ

Awards in print, on our websites (ITIJ.com, ITIC.co) and via email to our ITIJ Awards-related

database.

6. ITIJ reserves the right to retain company logos and biographies for subsequent publication in

relation to the ITIJ Awards.

7. The ITIJ Marketing Award is not open for entry; fi nalists are selected by our judging panel.

8. Sponsors are not permitted to enter the category they are sponsoring.

9. Please ensure that the information submitted is accurate and the correct companies/

individuals are credited as appropriate. ITIJ accepts no responsibility for any incorrectly

submitted information.

10. Any entry may be withdrawn up until Thursday 18th July 2019 upon written request to the

organisers.

11. The judges’ decisions are fi nal and no correspondence will be entered into regarding them.

12. Winners will be announced in October 2019.

13. All entries are accepted at our discretion; we reserve the right to refuse any entry for any

reason.

14. By submitting your entry, you agree that your entry and any information it contains can be

used by us for any purpose whatsoever in connection with ITIC Global and the ITIJ Awards.

15. Copyright of your entry belongs to you; however, by placing an entry into the ITIJ Awards,

you grant Voyageur Publishing & Events Ltd a worldwide royalty-free perpetual licence to

edit, publish and use your entry in any and all media (including print and online) for publicity

and news purposes relating to ITIC Global and the ITIJ Awards. Our right to publish details of

your entry includes, but is not limited to, editorial coverage and interviews in ITIJ and on our

website, and announcements at the ITIJ Awards ceremony.

16. Your entry may also involve submitting sensitive information and/or supplying your intellectual

property material. Such sensitive information should be marked up as ‘strictly in confi dence’.

We will undertake to respect all such notifi cation with regard to editorial coverage and

publicity. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the necessary permissions and consents

to provide us with the intellectual property contained in your entry and to ensure we have the

right to use your and any third-party intellectual property you provide with your entry for the

ITIJ Awards.

17. The judging process and judging panel shall be determined at our sole discretion.

18. By entering the ITIJ Awards, you do not automatically receive a ticket to attend the ITIC Global

Finale Dinner. Tickets must be purchased separately.

JUDGING CRITERIA & RULES OF ENTRYJUDGING CRITERIA

The ITIJ Awards are judged by an esteemed panel of experts from across the globe – industry veterans who really know the ins and out of travel insurance provision, who impartially consider each entry, looking for:

• Details of the company’s performance or growth over the past year

• How the company has developed• What made the past 12 months special for the

company• A mission statement that refl ects how

the company views itself within the wider marketplace

• How the company differs from its competitors, and its future aspirations
