About

The Master of Science (Environmental Engineering)programme, or M.Sc. (EVE) in short, is targeted atgraduates who are either working, or considering acareer, in environmental engineering, and wish tobe part of the global effort to incorporateenvironmental considerations in all humanactivities.

Its curriculum is sufficiently flexible toaccommodate students from different science andtechnology backgrounds as well as providepracticing engineers an opportunity to enhancetheir technical competence.

This programme is also suitable for graduates whowish to build on their prior educationalbackground and professional experience in thefield of environmental science and technology, andto acquire new skills for solving advancedenvironmental engineering problems, thusenabling them to contribute in greater measure toSingapore's push to develop its environmentaltechnology industry.

The programme will prepare students tocontribute to the environmental protection effortsspearheaded by the countries in the region. Inaddition, this broad-based educational programmewould be of relevant interest to professionals in thegovernment's regulatory and statutory bodies, aswell as in institutes of higher learning.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTSA good bachelor's degreewith honours (at least Second Class), or its equivalentfrom institutions of recognised standing.Although candidates with good first degrees and practical working experienceafter obtaining their first degrees are admitted, meeting the admissionrequirements does not guarantee admission.

APPLICATIONThe programme has 2 intakes per year: January and August.The application periods generally open 6 months before the start of the intake.
