EP-ACT (formerly known as the Greater Philadelphia Clean

Cities Program) was one of the first three designated Clean

Cities Coalitions established by the Department of Energy in

1993 to advance the nation’s economic, environmental, and

energy security. The Clean Cities network has grown to nearly

ninety coalitions covering every major city in the United States.

For over twenty years, our organization concentrated its efforts

in the five counties of the Delaware Valley. In 2012, we ex-

panded our boundaries to help an additional twenty-nine coun-

ties in Central, South Central, and Northeastern Pennsylvania

with their foray into alternative fuels, vehicles, and technolo-

gies.

Our membership is comprised of some of the largest municipal,

utility, college/university, & industrial/corporate fleets in Penn-

sylvania & the United States. EP-ACT is one of the few 501 ©

(3) non-profits dedicated to alternative fuels and transportation

within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

“We develop public & private partnerships to promote alternative fuels, vehicles, and technologies in the transportation sector”

Funding

Receive assistance with preparation of alternative fuel vehicle

(AFV) related grants. We provide all members with grant writ-

ing assistance and the most up-to-date information on funding

opportunities and incentives.

Information

Stay up-to-date with the latest happenings of the alternative

fuel and vehicle technologies industry in Central and Eastern

Pennsylvania. EP-ACT distributes an informative electronic

newsletter quarterly that covers important local activities, pro-

jects, and news items. In addition, our stakeholder meetings,

email announcements, blog posts, and social media provide

updates on legislation & regulations, AFV technologies & avail-

ability, infrastructure development, safety, and local & national

success stories.

Networking

Participate in all of EP-ACT’s activities, which include stakehold-

er meetings, training sessions, workshops, public outreach, and

award ceremonies. These efforts bring together the full gamut

of transportation professionals — everyone from OEMs, manu-

facturers, and technical experts to fleet managers, mechanics,

and transportation authorities. Meet other individuals and

organizations interested in alternative fuels.

Exposure

Expand your brand. Membership comes with a long list of

opportunities to gain market reach with our shared mission.

This includes speaking or having table displays at Clean Cities

workshops, seminars, or events; representation in EP-ACT’s

quarterly newsletter; recognition on our website in various

forms; and access to our network of contacts. Let’s work to-

gether to amplify the buzz on alternative fuels.

EP-ACT is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations, contributions, and dues are tax deductible as permitted by law.
