The innovative MindStep™ staircase is a durable wooden staircase where a stylish and practical application work harmoniously. The MindStep™ is built from ‘stick’ laminated bamboo, which gives the stairs a playful and organic appearance. EeStairs is always striving to design and implement innovative ideas and unique stairways. Special creations that are able to participate in international design competitions – and successfully as it turns out.
In 2016, EeStairs’ MindStep™ design was awarded an Architizer A + Awards, a prestigious prize for the best architecture and products in the world. The MindStep™ won no less than two awards, one award was granted by a jury and the other by public vote.

BambooThe MindStep™ is made of laminated bamboo, which can be painted or stained in any colour. After processing, pressed bamboo creates a solid, beautiful and durable alternative to hardwood, that does not shrink or expand. This means that a MindStep™ staircase’s treads are hugely resilient, in fact – after lamination, bamboo is almost as strong as steel.
Durable designWhen compared to most hardwoods, bamboo grows extremely rapidly, which makes it a great alternative to slower growing tree species. EeStairs only uses sustainably sourced bamboo, meaning we are genuinely contributing to the development of sustainable staircase solutions. The MindStep™ is a product of EeStairs’ commitment to develop innovative, exclusive and truly spectacular designs. The staircase’s railing is an integral part of its structure. In this design it consists of ribs separated by an agreed distance, the staircase’s treads are mounted in between so that all components form a single unit.
