Yacimientos epitermales no siempre estan hospedadaspor rocas volcanicas
Alteracines y estilos de mineralizacin pueden diferir dela norma y reflejan la composicin de la roca huesped.
El ambiente fisico es importante en los procesos demineralizacin
Yacimientos epitermales de alta sulfuracin no sontipicamente hospedadas en aparatos volcanicos(volcanismo lleva a la perdida de voltiles)
A nivel global la distribucin de distritos HS vs IS y LS sepuede asociar a la situacin tectnica pero a niveldistrital HS puede coexistir con IS, LS.
