The Barcelona Latin music ensemble composed by musicans from all over the world presents its long-awaited production “Sin Fronteras” (”Without borders”):
offering a new album and two spectacular shows.

La Sucursal is an orchestra made up of 12 musicians that performs their own re-pertory of “Salsa Brava”, with influen-ces from Latin Jazz, Black music, Ca-ribbean rhythms and West Indian music.
Emerged in 2004 in the neighbourhood of Raval, the bohemian and multicultural side of Barcelona, several Colombian performers of different musical styles found each other with the common passion to play “Salsa Brava”. Influenced by artists from the 60s and 70’s New York, La Sucursal S.A. was born, beco-ming the laboratory for Salsa and Latin music in Barcelona: a cosmopolitan project which in-volves talented artists from several countries.
In 2007 La Sucursal released their first single, containing three original compositions (No te puedo querer, La Sombra and La Sangre y La Lluvia) and began to get known in the international arena of connoisseurs and DJs..
In 2008, La Sucursal SA launched its first production called Lo Nuestro - BCN Salsa Brava, including 11 tracks, ten of its own compositions and a cover version of La Bien Pagá, with the participation of Marina “La Canillas” lead singer of Ojos de Brujo.
Since then the orchestra is consolidated in the international Salsa scene, earning res-pect of musicians, critics, dancers and, of course, the general public, being recogni-zed by fans and specialists worldwide for its powerful and unforgettable live shows.
La Sucursal SA has conducted over 250 per-formances in countries such as Spain, France, Morocco, Portugal, Norway, Switzerland and Colombia and has collaborated and shared the stage with major international artists such as Cheo Feliciano, Africando, Jimmy Bosch, Luigi Teixidor, Wayne Gorbea, , Orlando Poleo, La-33, Hernan Olivera, Ralphy Ilizarri, Jamie Cullum, Ojos de Brujo, and many others. La Sucursal S.A keeps a close relationship with dancing au-diences, featuring at conferences, dance halls and nightclubs all over the world, collabora-ting with the most relevant Salsa dancers to-day, including world champions Adrian y Anita.Today its music is selected to be part of va-rious international compilations and as part of the soundtrack of three feature films and two documentaries, winning the award for Best Ori-ginal Song in the Bogota International Film Fes-tival 2010 with the single La Sangre y La Lluvia.

“SIN FRONTERAS”“Sin Fronteras”, La Sucursal S.A. second album, is the result of six years of study, experi-mentation and public outreach; six years in which the orches-tra has make the public dance, enjoy and listen a true musi-cal formula in different parts of the world: explosive and unique.
For the 2011-2012 season, La Sucursal SA is offering two attrac-tive proposals, presenting the second album titled Sin Fronteras “Without Borders” and the new international production called Descarga New York-Barcelona
DESCARGA NY-BCN“Descarga Nueva York-Barcelona” is a new and unique production based on musical and cultural exchange among artists between the Latin sce-ne in New York and La Sucursal SA
.The first experience offers a re-pertoire that pays homage to the city of New York and the great Ar-senio Rodriguez, featuring Frankie Vazquez the “Sonero del Barrio” and young international Salsa So-nero Hector “Papote” Jimenez.
