EPOC Handcrafted Beds can also boast a distinguished

history, all be it originating from the East End of London in

the late 1940s. Now recognised as one of the UK’s finest

manufacturers of hand crafted, bespoke divan beds and

mattresses, it is perhaps fitting that EPOC has finally settled

in to the heart of Suffolk, where creativity is woven into the

very fabric of this great county.

From castles in Scotland to luxury ski chalets in Switzerland...

from palatial private residencies in Monaco to stately homes in

the UK, EPOC’s reputation stretches worldwide.

Our clients are very discerning individuals including Lords,

Ladies and famous celebrities from the world of TV, sport, the

music industry and the media. One thing they all have in

common however is wherever they are in the world, they

choose to sleep on an EPOC handcrafted bed.

Today the EPOC portfolio includes stately homes and

country houses; exclusive hotels, holiday homes, even boats

and most recently multi million pound developments across

the globe.


USING THE FINEST MATERIALS

We specialise in making handcrafted mattresses and

divan beds to the very highest calibre and in the

traditional manner. We use only the finest products

and materials in our beds and treat every item as a

bespoke piece. With great attention to detail we hand

make everything to order and use natural fillings

including coir, hair, cashmere, lambswool, mohair, silk,

wool and bamboo. Nature constantly replenishes

these raw materials which are unsurpassed in

resilience, durability and ventilation.


INTRODUCINGTHE EXCLUSIVE

The Exclusive had its debut at the Decorex design

show at Chelsea in 2010. This bed was made 8’ in

diameter. It featured a pocket sprung divan base

complete with foot end drawer with a self close

mechanism and a shaped headboard, all upholstered

in striking lime green fabric. The Exclusive range like

all our beds can be made in any size and shape. This

range features two pocket spring units one on top of

the other and exotic fillings including white

cashmere, mohair, silk, wool and bamboo. It also

features four rows of hand side stitching.

This model has been made for many years

and is constructed using a nested pocket

spring unit, this is totally encased with

hair, we then complete using wool and

silk. This model also features two rows of

hand side stitching.

S U P E R E L I Z A B E T H A NWith a similar construction as the

Elizabethan this model also features white

lambs wool blended with cashmere.

It is finished of with three rows of hand

side stitching.

D I VA N B A S E SWe hand make many different divan

options for our beds, the majority of these

being sprung edge or pocket sprung.

There are also many storage options

available including drawers. Your divan can

be made to any height and size, so fitting

to an existing bed frame or four poster is

no problem.

Our adjustable divan bases are available

with or without storage drawer options,

or if you prefer, a shallow base on fixed

legs. There is a large range of divan

fabrics available to choose from with

headboards to match. Each adjustable

frame has a five-part action; the motor

comes with battery back-up in case of

power failure and mains isolation on the

plug. As an optional extra a massage unit

with infrared remote control can be

purchased separately.

ULTIMATE STORAGE SOLUTIONS

Our ottoman divans are a great storage solution and,

when upholstered in one of the many fabrics

available, are more like a piece of furniture than a

bed. With the option of side-opening or end-

opening, the ottomans offer the whole divan as

storage space. They also feature gas strut action to

make opening and closing easy.

All sizes are possible including extra depth and

length. We can upholster a headboard to finish the

look of your bed to give it that unique look.

On most of our beds we still use a cotton stripe fabric

that has, over the years, become synonymous with

our product. However, we also carry considerable

stock of other colours, designs and qualities all

available to select from.

aware of the doffering trends and styles available

clients own fabric choices for divan bases, while
