Equinox Cycle 2012For Headway and Temple St Childrens University Hospital

After wetting their back wheels in the Irish Sea, over 40 cyclists, wearing sponsored jerseys were guided out of Dublin by An Garda Siochana on Ireland’s premier one day coast to coast cycle, raising much needed funds for two very worthy charities, Headway and Temple St Childrens University Hospital.

BEGINNING IN HOWTH...

On the way to reaching our destination we were met by our refreshments team at ve different stages. Stopping rst in Maynooth followed by Clonard before having our main food stop at the Grand Hotel in Moate. Our support crew consisted of a paramedic and a physio along with a mechanic, photographer and a lead vehicle. Our nal two stops were in Ballinasloe and Loughrea before we reached our nal destindestination at Galway Bay where we dipped our front wheels in the Atlantic Ocean almost 12 hours later.
