Dear Valued Customer,

To reflect the new direction for our company in terms of both technology and business generation we are pleased to announce that the Dyesol group has changed its name to Greatcell Solar.

Dyesol Limited was formed in 2004 to accelerate the commercial development of Dye Solar Cell technology and build on the DSC work of previous 14 years carried out by Sustainable Technologies International Pty Ltd (“STI”), Greatcell Solar S.A. (“Greatcell”), and Switzerland’s École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).

On June the 9th 2017 at a general meeting of Dyesol shareholders a special resolution to change the name of the Company from Dyesol Limited to Greatcell Solar Limited was approved.

If you are a customer of the Company, our banking details will remain unchanged except for new account holder name details. We will, of course, continue to deliver the best materials and equipment in this rapidly growing renewable energy sector. We will also continue to sensibly manage the transition, recognising both names in relevant circumstances.

The name change is much more than cosmetic, it is a new direction for the company in terms of both technology and business generation. The new name signifies to us a new chapter of commercial progress and is more appropriate for our 3rd generation solar PV technology.

What will not change is our commitment to provide you with excellent materials and great equipment.

USEUse the Laser Scribing Machine to remove the conductive oxide layer from TEC glasses or polymer sheets

DESCRIPTION & BENEFITSThe Laser Scribing Machine utilises a carbon dioxide laser, producing a continuous cut, which is used to remove the conductive oxide layer from glass substrates so that a series connect tile can be produced. The software allows the machine to be programmed for your specific tiles and designs.The wavelength utilised renders the system suitable for plastics and glass. There is a slight etching of the substrate where the TCO is removed. This system needs Laser cartridge and focal lens substitution after about 6 months of intense usage (cheap spare parts are available)Benefits of the Laser Scribing Machine include: precision scribing, use of your own CAD files, and high speed operation.

DESCRIPTION & BENEFITS The Test Cell Heat Press provides the user with a rapid method for the assembly and permanent sealing of Perovskite and DSC test cells.

The Test Cell heat press applies pressure across the cell for sealing. A combination of light mechanical pressure and heating is used in sealing. A heated element applies pressure to the glass substrate of the counter electrode to melt a thermoplastic gasket between the counter and working electrodes.

The temperature which the counter electrode reaches can be controlled by temperature set by the user to the heating head and the length of time of applied pressure. This is important because excessive temperatures will damage temperature sensitive materials. The mechanical pressure applied to the cell during construction and the time of application can be varied by a user-adjustable pressure regulator and a timing unit. This is important because it ensures consistent, repeatable cell construction.

Hyperion III is a a revolutionary LED solar simulator equipped with an innovative LED matrix light source that matches the A+AA Class over a 23 cm X 23 cm area. The central part of the spot (12 cm X 12 cm) can be used for High precision measurements as Hyperion III matches A+A+A+ Class in this spot area.

SOFTWARE A dedicated Software enables the customisation of the LED matrix emission spectrum starting from the sun wavelength default value.

The end user can dim a single LEDs family output (the dimming range can vary with different LED types) or the entire spectrum with a 1% (or multiples) step.

Each LED family can be switched off and dimmed individually to simulate scenarios (sunrise, dusk, indoor, etc.), unlike Xenon solar simulators there is no need for expensive filters. Personalised custom spectrums can

be stored, retrieved and modified in a repository without any alignment or calibration activities

DESCRIPTION & BENEFITS Greatcell Solar’s Light Soaking Chamber MH will enable you to soak your Cells with emulated sunlight and control light soaking experiments through a number of specific control features. The Light Soaking Chamber was

developed to facilitate long term performance and stability testing of solar cells and/or tiles. The chamber is fitted with a high power metal halide lamp which provides about 130,000 Lux, but is of a non-conforming spectral output for solar simulation. The interior irradiation chamber has a footprint of 30x40 cm and a height of 27 cm. The optional irradiation controller gives to end user the possibility to control the dose in terms of Lux per minute or W/m2 per minute.

The optional irradiation controller measures the dose with a precise sensor calibrated against a PTB (Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt) reference.
