Besides the technical aspects a proper under canopy maintenance also depends on some agronomic factors:When is the use of a technology particularly recommended? What is the benefit of each attachment?

The new X-FASTTM quick coupling system includes a mechanical and hydraulic quick coupler, which makes replacement fast and easy.

The devices XSC, XSA and XSP can be attached either to a mulcher or directly to a tractor with the 3-point linkage PORT-X.This universal port, an independent 3-point linkage, ready for several attachments, reduces investments.(for more information on PORT-X see page 10).

Do not leave your yield to chance. With the equipment for under canopy maintenance of SEPPI M. you can yield a higher return in the vineyard and orchard.

Proper soil preparation specially such as in vineyards and orchards requires the regular removal of grass and prunings.

The proper maintenance of under canopy is important for the prosperous growth of cultures. SEPPI M. recommends mechanical methods in order to reduce the use of chemicals.

The XSC outrigger mower for inter-row mowingcan be mounted either to a mulcher

or directly to the tractor, with the 3-point linkage PORT-X.

Optional sensitive touchers allow to mow around obstacles and trees automatically.

Different versions help adapt to different needs. A double XSC outrigger also adapts to row widths.

This makes mowing much faster and more efficient.

The XSA cultivator supports organic agriculture as well as conventional cultures where an extended use of

herbicides has caused damage or where the frequence of herbicide spraying should to be reduced for other reasons.

This cultivator can be mounted either to a mulcher or directly to the tractor, with the 3-point linkage PORT-X.

A mechanical process cuts the roots of weeds along trees or vines and brings them to the surface.

A highly sensitive hydraulic toucher protects even the youngest trees from damage.

The conveyer belt XTR deposits mulched grass to the right of the mulcher

(not suitable for prunings), and it casts the grass up to 50 cm [20“].

It can be mounted to the following mulchers in place of the rear hood:

SMO, H-SMO-B and SAV.

The XTR is hydraulically driven by the external supply of the tractor.

PORT-X

The accessory carrier PORT-X is the perfect alternative or supplement for equipment for under canopy maintenance, when not using a mulcher.

This 3-point rear linkage frame comes with hydraulic side shift that allows to set the working width,

adapting it to the distance between rows.

The attachment is driven through the hydraulic system mounted on the PORT-X.

The under canopy care can thus be carried out autonomously, without a mulching mower.
