The technological base allows TTS Company to carry out full-cycle production. TTS Company’s production facil-ities include two workshops, with a total area of over 20,000 square metres. The workshops are equipped with 30-tonne cranes and the largest painting and shot-blast-ing chambers among plants located in the Baltic countries. The welding lines employ 100 trained professionals, cer-tified according to EN 287-1. The workshop also provides

anti-corrosion treatment and painting of steel struc-tures. ТТS Company uses plasma cutting technology for steel cutting (plasma cutting using Smax 80mm 3-D torch, dimensions: 3000 x 15000 mm). TTS Company also em-ploys a horizontal boring mill (TOS VARNSDORF WRD 150 Q).

The convenient geographical location of TTS Company in Riga allows delivery of the completed order to be per-formed anywhere in the world in the shortest possible time. TTS Company’s experts are able to conduct the trial assembly of complex products directly at the factory, working through every nuance of the final assembly, thereby ensuring the accu-racy and efficiency of the unit’s assembly at the customer’s site.

Debarking and cross-cutting line

It provides raw materials for veneer peeling machines.

The debarking and cross-cutting line provides raw material for veneer peeling machines. It consists of several sections: a line that feeds steamed raw material to debarking machines, a section for sawing of debarked raw material into sized blocks and a section that feeds the blocks to veneer peeling machines. The line produced by ТТS Company can additionally be integrated with metal detectors (as agreed with the customer) allowing raw materials containing metal to be sorted. The lines are fully automated and equipped with log measuring devices, which allows the cutting to be optimised according to the requirements ofthe production process.

Wood cross-cutting unit

This has been designed to divide the 6-metre assortment into 3-metre blocks.

This consists of a feed table, a step feeder, an infeed conveyor with traverses and a saw unit. After cutting, sawn blocks are fed to the booster conveyor piece-by-piece using a special unit with hydraulic pushers and stored in appropriate pockets in accordance with diameter measurements. The line is fully automated, but also provides a manual operation mode. The cutting assembly has been designed by TTS Company based onthe PERSKE saw motor. The line capacity reaches 12 logs per minute.

Log sorting line

It automatically sorts logs by species, grades, length and diameter.

The line consists of a feed table, a piece-by-piece log feeding device, a main sorting longitudinal chain conveyor and a section to install a log measuring device with a protective channel. Raw material is distributed to individual pockets according to its category. Pockets for distribution of various categories of logs can be made of metal or concrete and located either on one or both sides of the conveyor. Additionally, the line may be equipped with an aligning roll table, a debarking machine, a log rounding machine, a turner, a metal detector, conveyors for bark and waste, as well as manipulators. Timber sorting accuracy, according to its size and quality, is achieved by using the most modern 3D-scanning technologiesguaranteeing an increase in useful production output.

The main parameters of the lines:

› Wood species – coniferous or deciduous› minimum and maximum length – 4 to 7 m› minimum and maximum diameter – 120 to 650 mm

Line for feeding of raw materials to the workshop

A conveyor line for feeding of veneer logs to the veneer peeling shop.

The line includes: a feed table, a step feeder, a booster conveyor, a conveyor with a metal detector, a section for log measuring, a log conveyor and pockets for rejected raw materials. The line not only feeds the raw materials to the veneer peeling shop, but also makes the sorting of logs containing metal and having high curvature, defects, as well as ones moving butt-end first possible. The line capacity reaches 12 logs per minute with an average diameter of raw material of 250 millimetres and a length of 4.5 metres. The line is fully automated, but also provides a manual operation mode.
