Our Teen Impact Summit is open to parents and students 13+. PHC students and alumni will be leading small group discussions and Team-Building Activities for the students. President Haye and

Dr. Spinney will be offering separate sessions for parents during the Teen-Only Activites.

WORLDVIEW WITH PRESIDENT HAYEHow do you sort through the wide array of worldviews that compete with seemingly opposing truth claims? Parents and students 13+ will have an opportunity to interact with a variety of current issues from a Biblical per-spective.

Dr. Spinney teaches Ameri-can history at Patrick Hen-ry College, a required fresh-men course. He also teaches the college’s Historiography course, which is a semes-ter-long examination of what

President Haye is a 30-year veteran of the corporate bank-ing world. He holds degrees from Baylor University and American Graduate School of International Management. Before becoming President of

Patrick Henry College, President Haye served as an Executive Pastor of First Baptist Church of McKinney, Texas. His responsibilities at First Baptist included development and de-livery of an apologetics teaching series and oversight of both local and international mis-sional engagement.

it means to view history from a Christian per-spective. Dr. Spinney has been published nu-merous times on the subjects of history and Christian ministry. In addition to serving as a pastor for six years, Dr. Spinney was formerly a member of the faculty at Trinity Internation-al University (Deerfield, IL).

HISTORY WITH DR. SPINNEYWhy is it important for Christians to study history? Parents and students 13+ will have a chance to dive deep into American history and explore not only the facts of history but also the methods historians use to under-stand the past.

We invite you to join us for a rewarding weekend with our premier faculty as we seek to equip both parents and teens to impact our culture in challenging times.
