Equivocation
• The fallacy of equivocation is committed when a term is used in two or more different senses within a single argument.
• Also know as: homonym

Distinction without a difference
• The assertion that a position is different from another position based on the language when, in fact, both positions are exactly the same -- at least in practice or practical terms.
• Exception: sometimes there can be minute differences with degrees of meaning or measurement
