• Legally registered as AISBL in Brussels, Belgium as at March 2016

EMA Course Quality Survey • The Course Quality Student Services Survey (CQSS) is an annual EMA survey

• It evaluates

• the perception of students about their overall Erasmus Mundus experience

• and the experience students have at each university attended as part of

their course.

• 2015 demographics

• 2131 respondents from 128 countries and 193 courses.

• 78 programs received 10+ responses, available individualised reports.

• 977 females (46%) and 1135 males (54%).

• 1674 (79%) with scholarship and 457 (21%) without.

• The result are publicly available at course browser of EMA

• Currently we are collecting responses for the third wave (and we need your

help reaching out to the 2013, 2014 and 2015 cohorts

Graduate Impact Survey: Results Satisfaction

• On average 81% of the participants satisfied with the programme.

• 72.6% of participants found the links to employment to be too weak.

• Recommendation: Programmes adapt to better prepare students for the labour

market.

Employability

• 66.2% of graduates employed with majority finding a job in less than two

months after graduating.

• Unsuitability of the job market or lack of interest reason for more than 40% of

the graduates not in full employment.

Graduate Impact Survey: Results Personal impact of Erasmus Mundus

• Erasmus Mundus had the greatest impact on intercultural competencies

(58.7%) and career (43.5%).

• The EU attractiveness because of its job opportunities (73.3%) and its

quality of living and working environment (56.1%). 53.2% still lives and

works in an EU country after graduating.

Visibility

• Visibility is quite good, except in the EU, Oceania and the Americas.

• Source of EM information: Internet - (48.7%) of respondents, friends -

(26.1%) of respondents and University -(15.7%) of respondents

• Recommendation: A greater internet presence through increased online

promotion and Universities and other higher education institutions should be

encouraged to play a greater role in actively promoting Erasmus Mundus
