FEEDBACK FROM NEO FINAL REPORTS
2015-2017
TITLE – Subtitle – info / date
OUTLINE INTRODUCTION
I. PROMOTION
• Promotion Events
• On-line promotion (web-site, Facebook, videos, forums)
• Publications
• Support with applications
II. DISSEMINATION
• Ministry of Education
• EACEA/EAC
• Higher education community in your country
CONCLUSION
I. PROMOTION Gaps
We found little evidence of;
• promotion activities to address lesser-used priorities
• to reach new organisations that are not participating in the programme
• to reach HEIs in remote regions in larger countries
• to involved new departments in HEIs not already participating in the programme
• to ensure the involvement of the private sector in all curriculum development projects to ensure
they are relevant to labour-market needs.

B. On-line Promotion
I. Web-sites
NEO web-sites have improved over the past few years. However, there are still
some basic problems;
-a number lack the EU disclaimer
Web-site ctd.
• Lay-out is not the most user-friendly and logical
• Broken links
• Web-pages, new sections, call information is not always up to date
• Not enough information about existing projects
• Individual feedback from your POs
Good Practice

ii. Facebook
More pictures of projects please
More videos of projects please
Good Practice
iii. Videos when they existed often showed more the NEO staff and official from
the Ministry or other national representatives rather than projects.
Good Practice
Moldova
Good Practice
Kyrgyzstan.
e. Publications
More publications on the programme please written in your
language – especially on project results and impact
Good Practice
f. Newsletters
Are people on the mailing list reading your newsletter?
How useful do they find it?
Very little evidence in reports of evaluation of the usefulness of the newsletters.
g. Support with applications
a. Some countries are bringing a former expert who worked on the selection to give a presentation. The difficulty is that the Call changes every year and so does our briefing of the experts. Their information could be out of date.
b. NEOs need to give more support with proposal- writing because we are still finding proposals written by consultants. Coordinators also need help with partner-search.
Good Practice
II. DISSEMINATION
Three key stakeholder groups
Ministry of Education
EACEA/ EAC
Higher Education Community
Ministry of Education
• Joined-up strategy working closely with the Ministry to promote the national
priorities in the programme?
• Structured communication with the Ministry of Education?
• Meeting on a regular basis with the Ministry to inform them of the outcomes of
Erasmus+ projects in their country?
• Sending reports to the Ministry on the results of the programme in-country?
• Participation of the Ministry in Structural Projects?
Good Practice
EACEA /DG EAC
•Recommendations on projects you consider to be examples of best practice,
especially if they are creating attractive communication tools
•Mechanisms to collect best practice?
•Ensure they upload their results on the project results platform
