Why adoption? We are excited to build our family through adoption, and we already have adoption in our family (Erin’s dad and brother are adopted). We are thrilled for the opportunity to grow our family, as we have always hadadoption in our hearts.

About us: We met in 2007 and married in 2010. We currently live in Woodbury. We love making dinner together, listening to music, watching movies, trying new restaurants and traveling to the cabin and most recently to New Orleans and Yellowstone national park. We have a sweet lab, Cooper, and our cats are Farley and Wally.

Family and Friends: We love spending time with family, from sitting around the dinner table or weekends at the lake cabin. Our two amazing nephews have enriched our lives in the last few years and it is our greatest hope to expand our family! We love planning family time including “fun filled nephew weekends.”

Community: Our home is in a neighborhood filled with kids and within walking distance to a park, playground and baseball and soccer fields. We have a strong community of friends and family that have been in our lives for decades. We feel blessed to have life long friendships and family that are thrilled to welcome a new baby by adoption!!!

About Erin, as told by Josh: Erin is one of the most caring people I know, which is one of the reasons I fell in love with her. Erin works as a social worker at a children’s hospital, which brings meaning and purpose to each day. Erin loves to bring our friends and family together and she is referred to as “the glue” of our family. Erin’s compassion to others and devotion to family will make her an outstanding mother!

About Josh, as told by Erin: I knew Josh was the one after our first slow dance and a date at my favorite Italian restaurant. He is the most caring, kind and patient man who will make an incredible dad. Josh has an easy way with people and is quick with a smile and a joke. Josh works as a Web Developer in healthcare and is passionate about helping patients and families. Josh is a talented cook and we love to host friends and family gatherings. I love to eat his cooking!
