ertex VSG Spektral

Transparent VSG with coloured PVB laminate

A virtually limitless colour spectrum is achievable through superposition and/or combination of layers.

Basic colour system 0.38 mm intermediate layer – please note the colour of the original materials used (e.g. float glass).

Coloured opaque solutions with 2-sided colouring are produced with a polar white (white-opaque) core.

A layer of standard PVB transparent is ad-ded to coloured VSG comprising thermally cured components (at least 0.76 mm PVB).

VSG sound damping is determined mainly by pane weight and the arrangement of intermediate layers.

Basic principle: The less rigid the pane, the better the damping of sound.

Asymmetrical pane structures may signifi-cantly improve sound damping, since the panes have different coincident frequen-cies. The spectrum matching values C and Ctr were standardised (ÖNORM B 8115) in order to match sound protection measu-res to specific standard sources of noise.

Sound insulating PVB layers dampen the vibrations of individual glass panes.

The safety characteristics of ertex VSG with PVB-sc (“sound control” (sc)) sound insulation laminate are virtually un-changed from conventional standard PVB.

ertex VSG – The slim and functional design

In acc. with standard test at up to 1200 mm drop height

First hit from 6 m height

In acc. with standard pendulum impact at 100 mm height

Appearance after second hit Test passed – glass still intact

Thin glass VSG withstands dynamic “soft body impact” forces

FINDINGFully and linearly mounted all-round, VSG/TVG 5 mm with dimensions 877 x 1940 mm complies with the highest stress class.

Resilient lightweight for resistance against manual attack

VSG/TVG 6 mm passes standard test – three hits by a 100 mm diameter 4 kg po-lished steel ball. Free fall height: 6 metres.

FINDING

Classification (ÖNORM EN 12600) as anti drop device: 1B1

Classification (ÖNORM EN 356) as attack-resisting glass: P3A
