Santosa – To be happy for no particular reason at all.I have created a sustainable yoga to surf collection, inspired by Buddhism and the temples from South East Asia.

The toiles were tested to ensure the shape and fit were flattering, as well as provid-ing enough support. Whether practising yoga on land, standing up on a paddleboard or surfing, the support needs to alter for the different muscles being used without helping to maintain posture via compression. It was vital that knowing what areas needed compression, stretch or support.

After travelling through South East Asia I was inspired by the religion Buddhism. Previous to completing the collection I was already interested in Buddhism and believe the religion to have beautiful morals and beliefs. I chose to incorporate all aspects of my experience into the collection, from colour and shape to ethics and sustainability. Bondi is the definition of beach style, going from beach to bar without compromising style or

I looked at the temples for shape, colour and pattern for inspiration and combined this with the Buddhist monks robe design. Specifically focusing on the idea of three robes and one singular

pattern piece. Whilst always paying attention to areas of stretch and protection.

A cycling collection for Tory Burch/ Tory Sport using the concept of ‘The Artist in Res-idence’. The collection is aimed to be for women who lead busy lives in the city and cycle from work, to business meetings and to dinner. The selection of fabrics are chosen from Friedmans, with the intention to alter their prints to our personal design.

SWEAT WICKING- HIDDEN SUPPORT- BICYCLE SEAT PADDING - STRETCH - COMPRESSION- VERSATILE

17] TECHNICAL DETAILING/ PRINTI have found there is a need for innovation; comfort with-out looking like you’re in cy-cle gear. These pants are de-signed to go over underwear and under the final garment. The padding would be made out of a spacer fabric to create more comfort whilst cycling. In certain garments like the play-suit there is a built in panel to slide the padding in and out. On the garments which are designed like in a jumpsuit style, there are two layers.The layer underneath is made from Friedmans printed lycra and acts as a compression layer, whilst wicking away sweat for the active mod-ern woman. This underlay-er is complete with a panels which work the same as the previosuly mentioned pants with padding layer to make for a more comfortable ride. The idea of the garments is to feel protected on the in-side whilst looking stylish ond on trend on the outside.


For garments which do not have the under layer the pants which go over undergarments can be used to create a more comfortable journey.
