Adverbs qualify verbs. They are often formed by adding -LY to the adjective.For example, "She was a slow walker" can be changed into "She walked slowly".

The main frequency adverbs are: never, scarcely ever, hardly ever, rarely, seldom, occasionally, sometimes, often, generally, always, frequently, usually.

They are placed immediately before the main verb. For example, "I HARDLY EVER go to the theatre."

GOOD is the adjective, as in "He is a good golfer". It describes a noun, an object, a person.WELL is the adverb, as in "He plays golf well". It describes an action, doing something.
