Through watching tons of movies, and also having it as a hobby, the two movies that have similarities and also a good movie to be comparing is, Iron man and Guardian of galaxy. Guardian of galaxy is about a young man call Peter Quil who forms an uneasy alliance with a group of extraterrestrial misfits who are escaping after stealing a powerful artifact. While Iron man is about an American billionaire playboy, industrialist and ingenious engineer, Tony stark. He suffers a severe chest injury when he was kidnaped, this is because he was forced to make a weapon for the terrorist. But instead of building a weapon for the terrorist he built himself an iron suit that have weapon functions, and saves his life and escaped, He upgraded the suit and use it to defend the world and called himself Iron man.

The two characters have a similar tragedy and that is the lost of their parents. They both lose their parents at a very young age, and both was given something from their parents, peter gets a cassette player from his mom, while tony gets knowledge from his father through tapes and books that is videoed and written by his dad. And another similarity of these two characters is their attitude. They both are playboy, carefree, and also a jerk. But soon they both find a higher purpose for themselves, which is defending the world. They both depend on their weapon which is an armor and also laser gun and a jet shoes.

Although they both have similar backgrounds and characteristic, they also have differences, Tony which is Iron man is a billionaire, he had everything, fortune and fame. But Peter which is starloard have nothing, he was raised by a bunch of alien thieves and smugglers called the Ravangers. He had a hard time during his childhood day, and when his an adult he goes around space making out with hot alien girls and just being a rougue. While tony from a kid is a genius and was well educated, his a predigest in building weapons since he was a kid and is often seen in magazine and had a bright future coming his way.

And another differences are the reason why they wanted to save the world. Peter and his team decided to save the galaxy because of the mistakes that he had done which is letting Ronan to steals the infinity stone which have immeasurable power which is danger if falls in the wrong hand. They have no choice but to defend the galaxy with the nova corps. While Tony, Iron man defend the world because of the weapon he discovered, but with great power comes with great responsibility, Tony face many problems when the villain steal his idea of his armor and turns it on him and also to the world, it is his job to stop them and save the world.

Another similarity of Iron Man and Star Lord have is, the people around them make them a better man and a better person. At first, Tony is an irresponsible man, he party all the time, a playboy and do not take anything seriously, for example he was having a party with his armor on and was using his laser ability on his suit to destroy a watermelon, pepper pots which is tony’s girlfriend and also James Rhodes which is tony’s best friend came to stop him, and put a sense on him and making him to search for a way to fight his disease. While guardian of galaxy, Peter which is hated by other people because of his attitude was treated as a savior and a guardian of their galaxy, this all happen because he teamed up

with Gamora, Drax, Groot and Rocket, they need to clear up their responsibility and defend the galaxy with the Nova Corpsfrom Ronan and lasty realize he is half alien and half human.

In conclusion, I think Iron Man and Guardian of the Galaxy have their own similarities and also their difference, they both have a tragic past, a similar attitude, a reason to save the world, And companions which makes them a better person.
