Our business is a family based business establishing in 2001. We are essential oils producers, we are distilling sandalwood essential Oil. Our principal clients are luxurious cosmetic and best perfume companies in the world (in particular Guerlain and Dior).

We have been working with the same customers / suppliers from 2001, as they are buying from us and we are buying to us, this process allows us to find the best supply sources of essential oils cutting out many intermediaries.

A LITTLE REMINDER OF ITS DEFINITION

We call EO the very concentrated liquid obtained from a vegetable product through distillation by steam, through dry distillation or through mechanical extraction from zests. Often, only a very small amount is collected from a very large mass of raw material. The distilled part are the flower or the flower bud (lavender, neroli, rose), the zest (lemon), the berry (juniper), the leaf (petit grain bigarade, eucalyptus), sometimes also the grains (carrot), the root (or rhizome – ginger) or wood (sandalwood, cedar).

Man has observed and learnt how to use them for their fabulous healing powers.

USAGE OF ESSENTIAL OILS

Used for centuries in therapeutic care and cosmetics, they can be used in several ways:• through dermal route: by massage, in a bath, by friction

(on carotid, wrist against wrist).• through respiratory route: on a handkerchief, a pillow

in inhalation, in the palm of the hand.• through air route: in atmospheric diffusion, on stones

or wood.• through oral route: below the tongue, in soft capsules,

in gelatine capsules, in a syrup, on bread, on a sugar cube, in a little honey or vegetable oil, on a neutral tablet.

• through rectal route: by suppository.• through vaginal route: by vaginal “ovum”.

In aromatic cosmetics, concentrations between 0.1 and 1% of EO are used for the face, 1 and 3% for the body.

Non soluble in water, they are generally mixed with a vegetable oil to allow them to penetrate the skin in an optimal manner.

PROPERTIES OF ESSENTIAL OILS

Very rich in active ingredients, they produce powerful biological and therapeutic actions. They can be regenerating for the skin and cells, invigorating, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory. Some have an effect on our mood and our wellbeing and act also on the nervous system having calming, relaxing or energising properties.

THE CONSERVATION OF ESSENTIAL OILS

In good conservation conditions some of them can be kept up to 20 years!

The best conditions are:• Opaque bottle that filters UV rays.• Away from light.• Away from heat (>45°C)• Away from air because EO are volatile

Not advised during the first 3 months of pregnancy and in small children

Do not use pure on the skin. As a rule, test the product by applying a little in the crook of your elbow or on your wrist before using it, at least 48 hours prior to use.

Avoid eye and mucous membranes contact.

Keep out of reach of children.
