Hygiene Kits The Material Resource Center has said there is now a great demand for hygiene kits in the Caribbean. If you would like to contribute kits, they consist of (NEW items only):
1 toothbrush (adult size; leave in wrapper)
1 large bar of bath soap
1 fingernail clipper
1 hand towel (larger than fingertip; dark color) They are then placed in the drawstring cloth bags that are available in the lobby.
My Card, My Cause, MyNeighbor

Giving to Victims of Hurricane Harvey or Irma Samaritans Purse Relief Agency staff and disaster relief units are on the ground in
coastal Texas and ready to help homeowners devastated by Hurricane Harvey. You can donate online at https://www.samaritanspurse.org/ using a credit card or electronic check. If you cannot give online and would like to wire transfer a donation from your bank account, please call and they would be glad to assist you. Call (828) 262-1980.
The Mennonite Disaster Service, based in Lititz, Pa., is accepting donations to its Harvey relief efforts at https://mds.mennonite.net/donate/hurricane-harvey-donate-form/ or by check made payable to Mennonite Disaster Service, 583 Airport Rd., Lititz, Pa. 17543.
The Salvation Army: People can donate to the Salvation Army’s work in Texas by going to http://disaster.salvationarmyusa.org/ or calling 800-725-2769. One-time $10 donation can also be made by texting STORM to 51555.
Enjoy the Annual Apple Butter Frolic at the Mennonite Heritage Center, Harleysville, on Saturday, October 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Break-fast served from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Farming, PA Dutch food, and lots of fun for children and adults. Cost is $20.00 with half going to the Bally Community Center. They contain
coupons for local businesses and opportunities to win prizes. Simply write down
your information and the calendar number on the slip of paper and place in the
envelope.
