  • 6. PSM Statement of results (if any) Hons degreed persons will not require this. 7. Highest qualification / SAQA Certificate or 8. Activity summary report (extracted from the online diary system) 9. Project summary report (extracted from the online diary system) 10. Project-specific report (last page to have a signed declaration stating that you compiled the

    report and a detailed declaration from the mentor stating that he/she has read and approve the report. as well as defining any deficiencies they have found during the in-service training period.

    I reiterate, if the submission is not as per the order above – we will NOT BE SENDING IT FOR ASSESSMENT.

    3. APC ASSESSORS’ WORKSHOP An APC workshop will be held on 20 January 2021. There is a need for more assessors for paper submissions and interviews. Please advise the registration department is interested. One of our assessors will facilitate the workshop, and explain what is required to become an APC paper assessor. An e-mail has been sent out in this regard, but if you missed it, please check your SPAM folder or advise Itumeleng Mokoena if you would like to attend. [email protected] Kindly note that this is NOT FOR CANDIDATES.

    4. LETTERS OF GOOD STANDING - PRIVYSEAL We had some issues with the online generated good standing and confirmation of registration certificates, but this has now been sorted out. Should you require a realtime certificate, please log onto the SACQSP website and go onto your profile. There are hyperlinks which will take you to the various options for what you need. Below is how you access your letter of good standing on your profile • Click profile home. • Click Edit BIO. • Scroll down until you find two hyperlinks, then • Click the first link, certificate of good standing.

    It is also suggested that you download the electronic confirmation that can be attached to your e-mail signature as proof of good standing.

    5. CPD Our CPD officer has re-audited some profiles that fall within the current 5-year cycle (2015 – 2019).

  • The SACQSP website has Acta Structilla for CPD purposes, and the ASAQS if offering free CPD event which covers CPD category 1. There is no excuse for non-compliance. An extension has been granted until 31 March 2021, and if you have not brought yourself into compliance in this regard, unfortunately you will be de-registered.

    6. RICS Numerous applications for registration are still coming through via the RICS route. There is currently no agreement between the SACQSP and the RICS, and until such time as a new agreement is signed, we will not register any prospective candidates. If you are already registered as a candidate us with the SACQSP, you will need to continue with the route as set out in your registration letter.
