Background
Over the past three years, eight countries in the East Central and Southern Africa (ECSA) region have linked the acquisition of CPD to licensure renewal.

Purpose of the CPD Library• To develop a CPD Library that will provide readily-
available modules for nurses and midwives in the ECSA region to contribute to the sustainability of newly created national level CPD requirements
• Modules will: – Be peer-reviewed– Include a certificate of completion– Mobile accessible
• The CPD Library is working with nursing registrars in the region to gain support

• Met with 16 nursing leaders in Harare, Zimbabwe before the launch of the website in September
• Met with implementing partners such as Jhpiego, ICAP, UW-DGH, I-TECH, and CDC to discuss using modules for the CPD Library
Moving Forward• ‘Awareness Survey’ early December to ARC
and ECSACON leadership• Promotion of the ECSACON Social Media and
broadcasting more updates to social media• Contacting implementing partners and
providing updates on module reviews• Continuous quality improvement• Development of sustainability plan
