Download the so ware project

I Goto http://ethercat.rt-labs.com/downloadI Choose a project suitable to your hardwareI For example SlaveDemo_TWRK60F512.zipI For this example project we are using Kine s Design Studio which

can be downloaded from http://www.freescale.com

Start KDS and import the project

Project files

The project structure contains boththe slave source code, hardwarefunc ons as well as the EEPROMand ESI file belonging to the slave.

Build the so ware

The project does already contain aprebuild ELF file, but it can berebuilt the following way.

Download the so ware to the target (1/2)

In this example we are using a J-linkdebugger but any suitabledebugger will do.

Download the so ware to the target (2/2)

Write the EEPROM to the slave and you're up andrunning!
