PROGRESS AND MILESTONESEU Holidays was founded by a group of experienced directors passionate about their work in the travel industry. They wanted to do something new that could better serve the travel needs of consumers, which is the main driving force behind the establishment of our travel agency.

Within five years of business operations, we have expanded EU Holidays and opened up three other subsidiary offices to focus on the various needs of our customers. The EU MICE office was set up in 2013 to cater for corporate travel with a focus on corporate meetings, conventions and events.

In that same year, EU Asia was launched to cater for customers who are interested in travelling within Asia. In the following year, we opened up EU Vacations to serve the Malaysian market. In

doing so, EU Holidays strives to constantly improve our products and services so that we can better serve our customers.

Despite being a young company, EU Holidays has gained significant recognition from both customers and industry professionals. Founded in late 2010, EU Holidays was voted Top MasterCard Supporter in NATAS Travel for four consecutive years since 2012. Since then, EU Holidays was named the ‘Best Travel Agency for Europe and USA Tours’ as voted by readers of ESCAPE! Magazine.

After just two years in the business, EU Holidays was presented with two valuable awards – the Asia Excellence Award 2013 and the Singapore Excellence Award 2013.

In 2014, we received the Singapore Quality Brands 2014 award and the Weekender Travellers’ Choice Award as No. 1 for Europe and USA tours, as voted by readers. We continued to be awarded for the next three years by Weekender and held our position as the top travel agency in Singapore.

From Tripzillia.sg - Singapore’s No.1 Travel Portal – EU Holidays also acquired excellence awards in “Best for Europe 2015” and “Best for USA 2015”. The coveted award recognises the most outstanding travel companies for their professionalism and experience in the travel industry.

EU Holidays Pte Ltd has recently received the prestigious Singapore Trusted Quality Brand 2015 award from the Singapore Enrich Group.

In addition, the travel agency has gone through the year-long Customer- Centric Initiative (CCI) program and successfully attained the Singapore Service Class certification under the Ministry of Trade and Industry agency, SPRING Singapore. The agency certifies EU Holidays with the niche Business Excellence (BE) standard for service.

Canada AutumnThe trees are coloured in hues of vibrant red, deep orange and bright yellow, foretelling the approach of winter. Autumn leaves are littered along the pathway, and they crunch beneath your feet as you step on them. A cool breeze blows past you, and gathers a few leaves around you, before scattering them at a distance.

Canada in autumn brings about a slew of activities, and visual treats to nature loving locals and enthusiastic travellers. It is also the season for hiking, and several places stand the test of time of being autumn attractions. One of these place is Niagara Falls, which is the collective name for the three waterfalls in the vicinity, American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and Canadian “Horseshoe” Falls. The complex of commercial buildings was constructed during the Great Depression, and has since then been a significant landmark. As you walk around the grounds, don’t miss the art deco designs of the buildings, as well as the art and impressive sculptures displayed publicly everywhere. Rockefeller Centre even has an ice-skating rink, otherwise known as the Rock Centre Ice Rink.

Stroll along Fifth AvenueThe infamous Fifth Avenue is an absolute must-visit. Located in Manhattan in New York City, the Fifth Avenue starts from West 143rd Street to Washington Square North and is known as a shopping mecca with some of the most expensive price tags, although quality can always be ensured. A few landmarks to look forward to as you walk through the Avenue include the Aeolian Building, Gorham

TOP 5 MOST BREATH-TAKING SIGHTS IN SOUTH AMERICAIn Latin America, home to such nations as Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Peru, there is no shortage of beauty, both natural and manufactured. We provide you with a run-down of the most picturesque attractions in the continent that promises to take your breath away.

1 Machu PicchuDominating all others, the most enthralling spot in all of South America is Machu

Picchu. Dating back to the 15th century, the ancient site is allegedly the last Incan city in Peru. Its primeval presence will transport you into the mysterious world of yesteryear. To reach the ruins, you would have to journey 2,430m above the sea level to the top of the mountain. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the abandoned grounds blend into the steep, rocky terrain and green plains. To get the best views, head to the highest point for a panorama of the almost systematically placed rows of stonewalls.

2 uyuni salt flatsAt 10,582sqkm, Bolivia’s Uyuni Salt Flats is the largest of its kind in the world.

Unlike the sand dunes of the Ica Desert, this vast stretch of land has a level surface coated with a snowy white salt crust. What’s more, the unbelievably breath-taking panorama looks like a giant mirror that reflects the sky, hence creating the illusion of a reduced gap between the Earth and sky.

3 Torres Del PaineComing in third is the Torres del Paine National Park in Chile. Picturesque

mountains and glaciers, almost too impressive to seem real, sit among winding rivers and lakes. The protected area may be populated with stunning flora and fauna, but the show-stealer remains to be the trio of mountain peaks known as Torres del Paine, the park’s namesake. Other odd-shaped, snow-capped Alps command attention as well.

4 Ica DesertVenture towards southern Peru and you will find the city of Ica, within which lies

the renowned Ica Desert. An endless landscape of sand dunes dipping in and out of the horizon, the barren land is not a sight commonly seen in urban cities. Take advantage of the soft terrain to do some sandboarding or roam around in sand buggies. Don’t forget to make a pit stop at Huacachina, a puny village in the Ica Region, a lone settlement surrounded by the expanse of sand. The spectacular desert oasis, built around a lake, is surprisingly inhabited by only a hundred over people.

5 Iguazu FallsStraddling between the border of Brazil and Argentina is the arc-shaped

waterfall, Iguazu Falls. The gargantuan natural landmark spans an impressive 2,700m across from end to end, making it one of the world’s largest cataracts. Watch in awe as the curtain of water cascade down an 80m distance. A train ride takes you to the waterfall, but if you prefer to be airborne, you can hop on to a helicopter as well. Found in the heart of the Iguazu National Park, it is enveloped in dense greenery, which also makes for an impressive sight. Diverse and eye-catching, the wildlife there, such as howler monkeys, jaguars and tapirs, can be easily spotted.
