Live and Virtual TrainingChartered training can be delivered in Live or Virtual format. Both offer the same high quality of training content.

Live training is done in-person in a classroom or at sites (such as factories or branch offices), depending on clients’ requirements.

Virtual training allows participants to enjoy interactive and live learning online, skipping the hassle and limitations of travelling. At our virtual training, participants will have live teaching and QA with the tutors, ending in an online examination and digital certificate upon completion.

Environmental managementOur environmental management training targets management of consumer goods factories, suppliers, vendors, brands or retailers and Compliance/ CSR/ EHS representatives. The courses consist of lectures and interactive activities including case study discussion and a quiz to help you understand all topics more thoroughly!

This training is designed for fashion & apparel / retail buyers and merchandisers, sourcing teams, quality & CSR teams willing to start addressing the environmental risks in their supply chain and willing to identify clear priority actions that can be taken at the production sites level. Progressively eliminating hazardous chemicals used in the production process and ensuring a safe working environment for workers is a key priority for materials supply chains. However, many factories are struggling to implement robust chemical management systems as they lack awareness and the necessary tools to achieve the targets. In view of this, we have invested substantial effort in building this course to provide the essential tools and practical knowledge for factories to improve their chemical management implementation. This training covers:

Without robust top management commitments, clear assignment of roles and responsibilities, allocation of resources, implementation of an action plan, etc., it is challenging for factories to be on the right track to achieving environmental goals. The Environmental Management System (EMS) is the fundamental framework that helps a factory monitor its compliance with the law, manage its environmental impacts and improve its environmental performance. Social complianceSocial compliance has become a key subject in corporate governance nowadays. Ensuring compliance to labour rights and management in the supply chain is fundamental to every responsible corporation. Our courses on social compliance are designed by industry practitioners with more than two decades of experience, providing you with an in-depth understanding of the perspective, principles and cases of this important topic.

Risks in the supply chain include undeclared sub-contracting, extreme pressure on workers to meet delivery deadlines, quality issues, and so on. In some situations, the buying practices are responsible for some of the difficulties that the suppliers face when trying to meet the buyers’ expectations, undermining social compliance at the factories. However, it can still be challenging for buyers to get a clear understanding of the scope of such audits, even though they can play an important role in better incorporating CSR aspects in purchasing practices. The objective of our 1-day training is to offer a better understanding of what a social audit is, what are the requirements of the social audit and what are common problems faced in factories. After this training, learners will be able to read social audit reports and better interpret the level of compliance of suppliers.
