Ms Chiora TAKTAKISHVILI (Georgia) was elected co-chairman on the partners' side of the EURONEST Committee on Political Affairs, Human Rights and Democracy by acclamation. 3. Election of the vice-chairs: Mr Leonidas DONSKIS (Lithuania) was elected Vice-chairman on the EP side of the EURONEST Committee on Political Affairs, Human Rights and Democracy by acclamation. Mr Asim MOLLADZE (Azerbaijan) was elected Vice-chairman on the partners' side of the EURONEST Committee on Political Affairs, Human Rights and Democracy by acclamation. Mr Knut FLECKENSTEIN (S&D) was elected Vice-chairman on the EP side of the EURONEST Committee on Political Affairs, Human Rights and Democracy by acclamation. Ms Naira ZOHRABYAN (Armenia) was elected Vice-chairman on the partners' side of the EURONEST Committee on Political Affairs, Human Rights and Democracy by acclamation.

1. Adoption of agenda

Decision: The draft agenda was adopted.

2. Election of the co-chairs:

Mr Gunnar HÖKMARK (EPP) was elected co-chairman on the EP side ofthe EURONEST Committee on Political Affairs, Human Rights andDemocracy by acclamation.

Ms Chiora TAKTAKISHVILI (Georgia) was elected co-chairman on thepartners' side of the EURONEST Committee on Political Affairs, HumanRights and Democracy by acclamation.

3. Election of the vice-chairs:

4. Any other business

The EP Co-Chair, Mr Hökmark, underlined the need to start working on adraft report [on the Eastern Partnership] to be presented to the next EaPSummit (Warsaw, 29-30 September 2011) and noted that Mr TraianUngureanu (EPP) and Mr David Darchiashvili (Georgia) had been suggestedas co-rapporteurs from the EP and EaP components respectively. Mr Vigeninrequested the floor to underscore the importance of having a proper debatebefore formally appointing the two co-rapporteurs. The Co-Chair, MrHökmark took note of Mr Vigenin's remarks while stressing the importance ofhaving a draft as soon as possible which would have to be discussed andagreed by the Committee as a whole in good time before the Summit.
