The DDEEPSY established in 2011 by a group of scientists with academic, teaching,

research, writing and psychotherapeutic experience.

The main aim of the Network is the specialized education and training for counselors,

psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists in Athens and in Thessaloniki at Greece.

Furthermore, the DDEEPSY organizes seminars and workshops in order to inform the

community about the latest developments in the field of mental health.

More specific, DDEEPSY provided programs relating to the application of cognitive-

behavioral psychotherapy, the treatment of personality disorders, seminars on the

subject of Forensic Psychology, Training in Clinical Psychoanalysis, training in the

treatment of Mood Disorders and Suicide and training in the Psychological Support

for people who faced with Loss and Bereavement.

The program for the Treatment of Personality Disorders aims to help the trainees to

identify and become familiar with the clinical assessment of personality disorders.

Also, the program gives the chance in trainees to learn how to develop the appropriate

treatment plan for each personality disorder based on the principles of cognitive-

behavioral psychotherapy and schema therapy.

The seminar on the subject of Forensic Psychology offers in participants a first

contact with the forensic psychology by giving emphasis on clinical and

psychological implications of the science.

The Training in Clinical Psychoanalysis is completed in two academic years. During

the first year, the scope of the program is to familiarize participants with the

psychoanalytic therapeutic direction in order to be prepared for the second year of the

studies in which, they get an analytical presentation of the Lacanian psychoanalysis.

The two years training program on Applications of cognitive-behavioral

psychotherapy educates the trainees in the theoretical and practical applications of

cognitive-behavioral treatment in the treatment of Mental Disorders.

The training program in the treatment of mood disorders and suicide through

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Schema Therapy has as its purpose the detailed

explanations of these disorders, and the participants’ familiarity with the application

of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Schema Therapy.

The program of Psychological Support in Loss and Bereavement presents in depth the

attitudes and behaviors toward grief and loss and by giving emphasis in the proper

treatment and support for mourners or carers.

The Training Program

The training program is addressed to psychologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists

and addiction-counselors that have an educational or professional experience in

cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy treatment or in any other model of counseling and

psychotherapy.

The program aims to identify trainees with the clinical assessment of personality

disorders. During the training, the trainer discusses in detail the groups of personality

disorders and educates trainees in the development of the most appropriate treatment

plan based on principles of cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy and schema therapy

for each personality disorder.

The training program developed in 6 workshops. Each workshop lasts one weekend

from 10:00 until 16:00.

By the end of the program, graduates receive 'Diploma in the Treatment of

Personality Disorders "while becoming professionally able to diagnose the nature of

mental disorder, to organize and evolve effective therapeutic procedure, to provide the

required services in supportive environments of the patients, to understand the

specialties of each therapeutic procedure and to manage resistance that might results

from the therapeutic relationships.

Seminar Training Program in Forensic Psychology with Clinical Approach

The Training Program

The seminar training program in Forensic Psychology with Clinical Approach is

addressed to professional psychologists or psychology students who want a first

contact with the field of forensic psychology, legal or law students who are interested

in the psychological approach, to professional who are working in security and

protection services and to every individual who interests to develop an awareness in

the field of the forensic psychology.

The seminar training program includes topics relating to the historical presentation of

the science of Psychology and Forensic Psychology by giving an analysis of those

sectors based on the terms of clinical and psychological approach. Also, during the

seminar, the program refers to the separation of pathological and clinical data from

the legal terms contained in the fields of forensic psychology by identifying and

analyzing the parts related to pathogenicity on a psychological level.

Clinical Psychoanalytic Training Program

The Training Program

The program is addressed to mental health professionals, and to individuals who are

interesting to become familiar with the field of psychoanalysis. The program for the

first year lasts for six months (60 hours), from November until May. It consists of

regular monthly meetings ten hours from 10.00 - 3:00 p.m.

that have submitted a comprehensive work on the material covered.

Participants who have completed the first year of the program will be able to

continue if they wish, and the second year.

In the second year of the program, the trainer discusses the clinic opinion of the

psychoanalysis by giving emphasis in the concepts of Lacanian psychoanalysis. The

program's second year addressed only in mental health professionals. The overall

program will include: theoretical sessions, reporting and analysis of psychoanalytic

therapy and personal analysis of the participants. Participants who complete

successfully the training program will receive 'Certificate of Clinical Psychoanalytic

Training. "

The Training Program

The training program in Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy is addressed to

counselors, psychologists, psychiatrists and psychotherapists. The training program

informs participants with the theoretical and practical applications of cognitive-

behavioral psychotherapy on the treatment of Mental Disorders.

Training in applications of cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy lasts two academic

years and is completed in 16 workshops. Each workshop lasts from 10:00 a.m. until

5:00 p.m. in which the trainees are informed of the theoretical aspects of cognitive-

behavioral psychotherapy and mental disorders, are discussing videotaped sessions,

are adopting patients and therapists roles, are participating in practical activities, and

are supporting their views on bibliographical clinical venuettes.

The training program in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy is organized in such a

way that provides learners with the ability to develop effectively the clinical

evaluation, and to structure the appropriate treatment plan based on the cognitive-

behavioral techniques.

Supervision and Continuing Education

The training program on Applications of cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy is

designed in such a way that enhances trainees to become critical learners. However,

for the proper professional development, trainees are required to seek guidance

relying on clinical supervision in the second year of training.

The purpose of clinical supervision is to support the new mental health professionals

to improve their effectiveness in the positive outcome of the therapeutic relationships.

Personal Development for Trainee

Trainees are required to follow a psychotherapeutic cycle by participating in at least

16 weekly and 4 booster sessions during the training program. The experience of

psychotherapy helps trainees to manage their personal concerns, and to observe the

application of the principles of cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy in real time.

Homework

During the training, trainees are required to submit two theoretical home works.

The Training Program The training program in the treatment of mood disorders and suicide through

Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy and Schema Therapy is addressed to

psychologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists and mental health professionals.

The training program serves in-depth analysis of mood disorders through cognitive

behavioral psychotherapy and Schema Therapy.

During the training, students will be able to gain knowledge of mood disorders and

will be equipped with all the techniques of cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy and

the analysis of neurobiological theories throug Roleplaying Games and Experiential

Exercises.

The structure of the training The training program developed in specific training sessions. Each educational

meeting lasts 7 hours (10:00-17:00) Saturday and 7 hours (10:00-17:00) Sunday and

Training Program in Counseling for Loss and Bereavement

The Training Program

The training program in counseling for loss and bereavement is addressed in mental

health professionals, psychologists, counselors, psychotherapists, psychiatrists and

those actively involved in areas related to death and loss, eg carers or nursing staff.

The program’s aim is to help participants to understand in depth the attitudes and

behaviors that developed toward grief and loss and help them to become familiar with

the proper treatment and support for mourners or carers.

The program lasts 7 sessions. Each session is taking place specific Saturdays and

Sundays from 10.00 to 17.00.

More specifically, the topics include:

Theories of grief. Understanding attitudes and behaviors towards the loss.

The stages of mourning. Understanding the process of grief and bereavement

reactions.

The 4 major issues of life that emerge during a loss.

Normal, abnormal, complicated, chronic, and delayed inhibited grief. The difference

between grief counseling and grief therapy.

Depression and grief.

Recognition and understanding of symptoms during the loss (physically, spiritually,

emotionally).

The rights of mourners.

Mourning and man.

Mourning and child (An understanding of the reactions by age and different needs).

Bereavement following special conditions. Suicide, murder, natural disasters /

accidents, abortion, miscarriage

Death of a parent.
