Be a part of a vibrant academic and social community
We offer you opportunities to engage with fellow students and academics outside of the classroom. Join staff at informal dinners, go on an educational walking tour of London, participate in our popular Café Europa baking competitions, or attend our student conference in an English country manor house.
We help you develop skills to make you more employable in a crowded job market. Choose from a series of workshops including blogging, speech-writing, legislative drafting, lobbying, or political risk; or meet with successful EI alumni at our networking lunches.
We want your input and feedback. From focus groups and student surveys, anonymous feedback cards or formal representation on departmental committees, there are many ways to contribute to the running of your department.

Marta Lorimer MSc Double Degree in European Studies alumna, and current EI PhD candidate
The two degrees I studied proved to be nicely complementary, which was the most enriching part of the double degree programme. It is about knowing how things work, being able to look at issues from all sides, and learning that ‘so what?’ Is really the most important question one can ask. I think that this is truly comprehensive education.
