SCHOOL!

In Lampeti there are a lot of buildings which are very

important. One of them is ……OUR SCHOOL! The 1st part of

the school was built in 1890!! There are seven classrooms in

my school and the 7th is the kindergarten!

When you enter the school you can see four stone benches

and next to them there are four taps for water. On the left

you can see the kindergarten and the 1st grade. On the right

you can see another small building. It is our library and we

store things that we use in the P.E. lesson there too.

In the centre you can see the main building and the Greek

flag billowing in the breeze. There are two stairways; one of

them leads to the headmaster’s office. The toilets are in the

backyard. We have a big playground around the school and a

basketball field.

The 6 years I have spent here have been a lot of fun with my

classmates and of course the “crazy” teachers and very

special to me!!

The second part of our school was built at about 1950.

I play football with my friends and all the boys of the 5th grade at school.

I do not like the fact that it does not have a garden with trees, a football field, a

volleyball court or a computer room. I would also like a gym!

By Penny

I like the fact that my school has got a big

basketball court.

We play basketball and football during the

breaks! We have a lot of fun!

By Vassiliki

My school is beautiful!

I like the fact that there are a lot of trees

around.

I like very much the fact that in the Physics

lesson we do a lot of experiments with our

teacher.

That is why my favourite lesson is ... Physics!

Our school is big but there is no computer lab. In the classroom of the 6th grade there

are a couple of computers. Our teachers bring their laptops in class. The colour of our school is yellow and orange.

I like the big basketball court we have!

By Dennis My scholl is quite large. It is a very old building

but it is in a very good condition.

I like the big classrooms and the playground.

I wish there were a football field and a gym too!

By Alex

Lampeti is a small village in the

outskirts of Pyrgos. It is beautiful!

They would be delighted!! They would not believe in their eyes!!!

My school, the 8th Primary

School of Pyrgos, is in Lampeti.

Lessons start at 8:10 and finish at 1:15 or 2:00. There is also the All Day

School until 4:00.

By Tasos

My school is not very

big but it has two big

playgrounds.

I love it!

I love my school!!

Around our school there

are colourful flowers and

trees.

Now outside the school-the surroundings!

A school must have trees, grass and flowers.

A school should have a basketball court and

a football field.

We must change some

things in our school!

We could use new clean

desks, chairs and boards.

Every school should have a

gym.

Every school should have a

Computer Lab for

Information Technology.

A Chemistry Lab is

necessary too.

A Library with a lot of

books so that pupils can learn

about the earth, nature etc.

On Valentine’s Day, February the 14th, the 6th grade discussed

about the concept of friendship.

They wrote the words they came up with in a word cloud in the

shape of a heart! Can you find them???????
