Stanhope Street
• The junction with Varndell Street is closed late January to late February
• Southbound lane closure opposite Augustus House for 3 weeks in February
• 10 metre lane closure in front of Langdale from 27 to 31 January
Hampstead Road
• Short southbound lane closure on Hampstead Road opposite Robert Street from 13 to 31 January
• Northbound footpath closed from 20 January to 21 February, bus stop relocated south towards Cartmel

Euston South demolition works
Wolfson House – due to be completed in April Walkden House – forecast completion in late April
Demolition has re-started in Wolfson House this month, main demolition is due to be completed in April.
Demolition is ongoing, next phase to include the removal of the first and ground floor slabs, with the above ground structure due to be completed by late April.

• Grant Thornton Works, 11 floors have been
demolished and currently down to ground
floor level. The remaining walls will be fully
demolished by February
• 1 Euston Tower, 14 floors have been
demolished and currently down to the larger
1st floor level slab. The demolition of this
slab will start following scaffold
modifications and continue until late
summer.
North Gower Street and Gower Street utility works North Gower Street between Drummond Street and
Stephenson Way
• Phase one: 7 January to 2 February – Southbound lane,
between the junctions of Drummond St and Euston St.
• Phase two: 3 February to 1 March – Northbound lane,
between the junctions of Drummond St and Euston St.
• Phase three: 2 March to 5 April – Southbound lane
between the junctions of Euston St and Stephenson Way.
• Phase four: 6 April to 3 May – Northbound lane between
the junctions of Euston St and Stephenson Way.
Gower Street and Gower Place
• Phase one: 7 January to 23 February – West side lane in the
junction with Euston Road.
• Phase two: 23 February to 22 March – East side lane in the
junction with Euston Road.
• Phase three: 23 March to 28 June – Gower Place between
Gower Street and Gower Court.

November 2019, essay competition with Maria Fidelis
School, Euston. Over 26 submissions from students,
topics ranging from gender equality, knife crime and
their family heritage.

We have been supporting the ZAD café on Ampthill
Square Estate, by refurbishing their site. This month,
they will be reopening to the public. ZAD Café
Delivery made to the Trussell Trust at St Pancras
Church house in December. The staff at HS2 & CSJV
donated over £600 worth of food and toiletries for
people in need in Camden.
Trussell Trust Donation
In September 2019, seven CSJV staff visited C4WS ‘Friday food
club’ and cooked up a storm with their meat/vegetarian chilli
con carne. They fed 65 people in Camden who are currently
homeless and rely on the support the charity provides.
