The USP of missingMissing is thriller film with a twist, The twist

is that the movie is shot like a self made documentary of the main character

The narrative behind it is that the main characters friends have all gone missing and he fears he is next so he starts to film when he feels he is being followed/ stalked

Continuity For my print products i decided to use for

both the magazine cover and the poster the same photo.

It firstly gives the audience an instant reminder of the film

I also decided to use the same font on the magazine sell line that stated “missing” so the audience can instanly identify it on the poster or magazine.

Magazine front cover of missing• I decided to put missing on the front cover of what appears to be a main stream movie magazine which would appeal to a mass audience mainly a blockbuster style magazine due to the Film is meant to be in the genre of blockbuster thrillers

•I have connoted this genre of magazine through the text, fonts and layout used in the magazine such as the mast head meant to represent the hollywood sign, the collours used are prevalent in this type of blockbuster magazine and also using sell lines that include main stream actors such as justin timberlake connote a main stream movie magazine this why I put missing on the front of it.

•The target audience for the magazine is ussually between 18- to 30 year olds which is perfect for my film due to this is what the genre of film is aimed at so the audience would want to see a thriller type film on the front due to it is one of the most watched genre of films by this age group

Ideas for Promoting Missing

Promoting via tv adverts with teaser trailers , radio adverts,

tv and radio chat shows interviews of actors invovled on shows watched by target

audience

Due to the narrative is aboutA group of friends missing could

use alternatives to the adverts and posters by replicating

missing persons posters and putting them on lamp posts

creating tv/radio adverts as mock ups as missing person breaking news reports a type

of guerrila marketing

It could also have a viral video campaign

which would have uploaded videos every few months when ever

friend goes missing right up until the day

of release

Used by many blockbusters

Using social network sites Such as twitter and Facebook such as the Slide before
