This title is a very indie title as it is quirky and funny because you can’t get blue snowballs. It also stands out and gets the audience’s attention.

The black and white effect makes the film opening look indie as often indie films are made with effects one them such as animation in ‘Juno’.

Weapons are also sometimes used in indie films; for example, ‘Pulp Fiction’, this makes the film reach out to a wider target audience that may be interested in action films. The costume also is indie as the balaclava is used in some indie films such as ‘Super’. The hat is also quite a indie thing to be wearing as clearly it is a bit out there in terms of fashion and that is what some indie people do, make statements with clothing.

The smashing up of the fruit also relates to indie films as it is quite a funny thing to be doing when in training to become a superhero, this again may mean that our product reaches out to a wider variety of people, not just indie fans.

This is also another picture of our character killing fruit; this again is funny which reaches out to a wider audience.

In this picture our character is now hitting something with the hammer that he has been desperate to get his hands on to use. The low angle shot makes it look like the character has a lot of power. The music eventually reaches a loud climax which is timed to this shot which makes it seem like the build up to this shot, this engages the audience as it answers some questions for them.

The font style fits the genre nicely as it isn’t too over the top, it isn’t too fancy or particularly outstanding but the white on black does catch the audience’s eye. The bluntness of the title is also an indie thing to do as it as it is straight to the point and you won’t forget it as you very rarely find indie films that have really long names.
