3) What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

I think because I’ve chosen Pop as a genre for my music magazine, a lot media institution can distribute in my media product. As Pop is a very popular genre there may be more of an option to market it, and also its very popular amongst the younger generation. My media institution would probably be ‘Bauer media’ as they do Pop music and help with communication with other people who may help distribute my magazine.

4) Who would be your audience for your music product?

My media product will be for both genders but, more female than males. This is because my genre research showed that girls are more likely to buy music magazines, whereas boys are more likely to just listen to it. The age for my magazine would be from about 13-21 or even older, depending on what people like. But since Pop music is normally aimed at the younger generation. So, in conclusion it would be for the younger generation and typically female.

7) What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing the product?

One thing I learnt about the construction of my product is that the picture has to be taken with an SLR to make the product look realistic; also you have to have good professional software to edit your pictures. For example, using photo shop would be vital in making the product. I also learnt that its very time consuming to make it look good, you have to be careful on where you put your texts and pictures and so on.
